Shelves are consistently sparse. Hardly any frozen vegetables or fresh. Self serve tills are poorly monitored by staff and the staff that are there are either chatting to each other or don't have a clue. Feel this store is going downhill.
This asda is superb. Its our local and we love the Asda Rewards App. I get so much back from my shop here and it makes coming back a little exciting haha. The customer service sometimes lacks to be honest and mostly from the security staff and kiosk staff. Don't work in customer service if you cba with the public.
Entering you'll see a good amount of Asda's own brand clothing and household goods. Followed by groceries, fresh produce, frozen and chilled, more groceries and finally pet foods and alcohol. So it's a pretty standard layout, like Sainsburys the bread and bakery is furthest from the front door. Personally I dislike this layout, trying to dictate what I buy and how I feel about it. Buy cakes because you have bought healthy before arriving in the last corner. Generally the grocery sections were a mess with gaps across all the products. Apparently lots of staff were unwell, so I get it, its a struggle to keep up sometimes. Checkout service was fast and friendly.
Got followed out by a security officer and was accused of stealing.i showed all my receipts for the rude security officer to question every purchase then to state there was no evidence of me using the tills maybe video playback on the security screens were not working semingly a receipt was not a valid prove of purchase.after identifying all the items .the security office then throw the receipt in the trolley and walked of.tried to phone the store but no luck shocking behaviour and all this was in front of my son very traumatic experience I can't reply to the comment so if you could leave a email then I can tell you all the necessary details etc
Jonathan always goes above and beyond to help people, always happy and smiling and promoting and helping people with the Asda Rewards Scheme. He is a true credit to the store and Asda as a whole, nothing is ever a bother to him, we need more people like him :
Food out of date in ready meal section. Manager rude with no clue on stock rotation. Used the I'm new excuse. Complaint made. CHECK DATES ON YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!!!!!
Large supermarket, though a smaller product selection than you would expect for the size. The homeware section is pretty great though.
Well I was at asda straiton today 23/10/22 I bought the cheap prawns for a family member that I care for as they are housebound but Nicola on self checkout said no I couldn't do that only three per customer so I asked another customer and they knew my predicament and gladly obliged I did explain I'm away on hols and waswho would be looking after said fam member well i will never be back in another asda again come on aldi get to station real soon and lets see asda crumble stocking up and the she was rude to question me on who would be looking after my family member
Your security staff need training propley to actually look at the CCTV tv monitor screens that are right Infront of them it really makes me wonder what they actually look at when they are sat Infront of the screens clearly not looking propley!!! accusing customers of stealing and humiliating and discriminating and desrespecting innocent people your security team are a joke,, do your job and look for thieves instead of accusing innocent customers!!!
Dirty out of date goods and very very rude staff especially Nicola at self service dam right rude of a little girl you need to learn people skills. Customers can do without the likes of you.
