Never trust the promotion label at asda as they will only charge you whatever in their system. They will tell you photos cannot be used as proof of promotions, it may be taken from other asda which is not related to them .
Have been sat in car for 20 mins past my click & collect slot still waiting for my shopping. Very rarely use this service at Livingston because of this repeat issue. Only got notification of substitute and out of stock item 20 mins after my slot time. Other cars also waiting. Had to go into store first and every pay point is queued up the aisles. I only use this store when it's more convenient, but they constantly prove they are less convenient and unreliable. ** Post review note. The phone number at the click and collect point is unavailable too. My collection ended up over an hour late, and they only brought it out because I challenged them when they brought another delivery out. My arrival only showed up on the colleague's "gun" when he brought it out. Never again.
If a member of staff is asked about lack of an item, often a stock reply is "It's not a good seller". This is lame. One shutter on the premises is broken One escalator is out of action Lots of items one expects are simply not on the shelves, including fruit and veg I appreciate ASDA has lost market share and the owners' wealth has gone down, according to The Rich List, but one wonders if they are actually running the place down intentionally for a takeover.
A big Superstore for people living around Livingston. Mostly all of the items are fully stocked and available. A big parking place was available. As it is a part of the shopping mall, we can easily access other stores in the mall. The main drawback is Paypoint was not available, unlike other ASDA stores. A lot better to purchase clothing here compared with other ASDA stores in the Edinburgh area.
Went for shopping today ,as always liked good selection of evrything, but unfortunately at check out lady who work there has been very unhappy to work there as she told she was struggling so badly to her colleague understand we all can have a bad days but being rude for nothing is wrong especially when my autistic son speak ,when I approached to pay lady was very unhappy to be there ,we had burst bag and wanted to exchange item so what we got instead ? She packed the leaking bag to Asda bag and charged us an extra bag charge instead of offering an exchange : I love it the way she did that I was very disappointed by the way I was treated there today, unfortunately ... If you are not happy, don't throw your flusteration on family with autistic child change job. Go mix chocolate at biscuits factory !
Went into Asda to get my shop in November when unfortunately my engagement ring had fell into the grate of the freezer staff took my details and said a technician would be able to get this out, this ring is sentimental as was my grandmother's engagement ring too, I have been in every week since and no one has a clue where this ring is. Because apparently was not logged in correctly now I don't know if my ring is still in the freezer or if someone's away with it, no effort to contact myself has been made
The pizza from Asda kitchen has always been good. Good service etc. however, me and my partner popped in to get a quick pizza on the way home and it was nothing but a big mess up. A couple before us waited so long to be given the wrong pizza. The young girl working the counter had a horrific attitude and did not have a clue what planet she was on. Next thing my neighbour comes in to collect 2 pizzas that she has ordered for DELIVERY but only had her sides delivered. She then had to wait like 15 minutes to be given OUR pizza. We legit sat in the cafe for about 45 minutes just watching 3 people including a just eat delivery driver try to put together 3 orders. I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure just eat delivery drivers shouldn’t be cooking food! The wee girl working in the cafe needs to find a new career. Her attitude was terrible and then while we are waiting we can hear her through the back laughing and complaint about the woman who she had given the wrong pizza too and tried to claim a spicy chicken was a bbq chicken. Anyways. After all that me and my partner woke up this morning severely ill being sick etc. bearing in mind I’m 8 months pregnant. I deffo won’t be back. They did give us a bigger pizza and offered us a tub of Ben and jerrys for the wait. The people before us didn’t get that offer. Neither did my neighbour. And I’m sorry but a tub of Ben and jerrys doesn’t excuse that girls disgusting attitude. Maybe if the guy cooking the pizzas stopped talking for 2 minutes he wouldn’t have messed up 3 orders.
PIZZA from Asda was always very good but what we have received today….. radicolous!!! We have ordered 3 pizzas today but only one was good to eat. About other 2: How you can send something like this to people?!! Do you know it is danger to eat it? I feel very very disappointed and will never order anything from Asda again….
So if you don't want to feel like you don't have any worth pop here to this store go to the self check out till and you will be treated like you're custom doesn't matter a jot you might if lucky get a grunt of acknowledgment, that's if you're super duper lucky.
Good store, never had a problem with it apart from your one certain member of staff. His name is David. He is quite a big guy and grey longish hair. He absolutely stinks. He has hopped onto a bus I use before and as soon as he comes on all the people open windows and avoid breathing. Have also walked down an isle he’s been working in and he has a terribly foul smell from him. Why are you guys happy with having such a smelly guy working for you around customers? It’s not a hard thing to shower and use deodorant. I’m sure he does nightshift but not 100% sure of that. I’m not saying he should be sacked but I’m saying you need to talk to him and tell him how bad it is and not fair for other people like myself. I can’t imagine what it’s like for staff having to work and share a staff room with him.
