I’m giving the Asda cafe 4 star, it has its moments, however it is super cheap and if you are looking for a cheap lunch this is the place to go. When their pizzas are fresh it’s great, I’ve always been served with kindness and super fast. I love that drinks are refillable which is something you don’t get in fast food restaurants. You get what you pay for, the majority of the time I’ve had very yummy pizza slices, their chicken burger is far better than McDonald’s and the chicken nuggets are good. They also do jacket potatoes which I’ve always enjoyed. Sometimes the cafe is quite messy, in the busier periods, I’m not saying that’s acceptable however I can understand that it can be hard to keep clean when there is allot going on. Majority of the time the cafe can be fairly clean and I’ve seen people trying to keep the cafe clean when I’ve been in there. I definitely recommend them though for cheap and quick lunch.

Visited this store for the first time today. Had it been my first visit to Asda, it’s safe to say it would be my last. The clothes section is a disaster. Nothing was in size order, things weren’t in any order. It was a complete mess. I had gone to buy some new clothes for my daughter, but gave up as nothing was even in her size! Then there’s the actual store. Poorly laid out, lots of items out of stock, empty boxes just left on shelves. One member of staff actually continued to stand in my way despite her staring at me as I tried to reach behind her for products off the shelf, seeing as she ignored my polite ‘excuse me’ request. Another member of staff dumped their home shopping trolley right in front of some items I was looking at and didn’t even apologise. The lady at the till didn’t make eye contact with us, let alone say hello. When it came to giving us our total, there was no ‘that’s £80 please’ just ‘80’ !! I will NEVER go to this shambles of a store ever again.

Recently I visited this Asda to get 2 birthday cakes for my son and daughter as an emergency replacement. The cake machine couldn’t pick up my phone to transfer the pics over, a really helpful member of staff named Laura in the bakery stepped in and allowed me to email my kids pics over to her phone (which she deleted in front of me) and did the transfer for me saving my kids birthdays! Not all hero’s wear capes, thank you so much ❤️

A good shop with good deals, although the security is well over the top and makes shopping an unpleasant experience. They have just installed lcd screens that record your face in real time on all of the self serve scanners! I understand that they want to deter crime but this is ridiculous! Unfortunately you have no other option but to use them otherwise as if you use a human till you will be stuck behind people who are doing a whole trolleys worth of shopping! Scan as you go is the only option, however if they install it on them then I will stop shopping there! A true Orwell style invasion of your privacy! Spoils a good supermarket!

Good butcher selection here and cafe good for kids meals. Not too expensive
