it's not a pharmacy it's just a joke, the staff doesn't know what to do at all, there's a problem every time I pick up my medicine, they can't spell the name, even after I spelled the name 4 times, they have absolutely no idea about work. 40 minutes of waiting and then they tell me to come back in another 40 minutes, when I come back again after 40 minutes, it turns out that the medication are not there and that they have to order them, just a total mess. Over and over, they make the same mistakes.
This pharmacy should be shut down immediately as they put patient in risk!My son got prescription for 2 bottles of antibiotics, the walk in centre sent through the e-prescription. When I collected they said they can issue me 1 bottle and I need to come back for the 2nd bottle for security reason, which was fine by me. When I got back 5 days later I handed out the slip I got from them at first instance, they took it and I was told that the antibiotics is not on stock and they cannot do anything, I need to go back to walk in centre and request another prescription and ask them to send to another pharmacy. I ask for the slip to have a proof that I did not get the 2nd bottle or any confirmation what has happened but they refused to do, so I was left in shock. I run back to walk in centre with 2 ill, small children and was told I have to wait 3 hours for the prescription which I could not do.I contacted my GP for help but not able to help as it was prescribed by the out of hours walk in centre.Reported to authorities today, they need to investigate and shut this place down, they playing with childrens life.
Twice in the last month I have gone to collect my medication only to be told that they hadn't received a prescription from my GP. On both occasions I rang my GP to be told the prescription had been sent. My prescription was miraculously found when I phoned to say what my surgery had said, this meant that I then had to drive back to Asda to collect. A few weeks ago I got my medication home to find the bag also contained tablets for someone with the same name as me but an address that was not mine, how is this possible? On that occasion someone drove out to collect the medicine from me but how can this happen? Some of the staff are very helpful and apologetic when mistakes are made but mistakes like this should not be made, who checks what is dispensed? After your reply I am adding - I am not on Facebook or twitter, send me an email address to reply to with the information that you want.
Dreadful. It’s rare you can collect your medicine without any issues. I only use them because they’re open late.
Absolute nightmare. No organisation or logic. Obviously short staffed and stressed, need more support or to stop accepting new prescriptions. 5 days from prescription issue to being able to collect and a half hour wait even when it was 'ready'. Avoid if possible.
The chemist closed at 9.57 when it says on Google closes at 11pm fri desperately needed a chemist. Lady on asda customer services was rude and not helpful in any way. Terrible service
Wow, great service not put the phone down on me just as I started to speak and then kept doing it when I rang back.
Rang them to see if they could do my husband's prescription.....yes they could....brilliant......even though our local pharmacy couldn't do this due to 'Covid' overload. Well done Asda Pharmacy and thank you.
Dreadful service. Doctor ordered medication, went to collect 48 hours later, not ready, wait half an hour....... Today, Doctor ordered 2 lots of medication, collected it 10 hours later not ready, had to wait got home and only got 1!
Such a brilliant pharmacy. There’s a fertility drug I have to take which is a nightmare to get hold off. I’ve tried so many pharmacies and Asda is only one that ever has it. One lady who works here is always an absolute star and manages to hunt it down for me, thank you so much.
