Staff were very helpful and friendly when I asked directions to an item that I was looking for. Store well set out and easy to find what I was looking for. A very clean and tidy store, easy to find what I was looking for, all the aisles were signed,so relatively easy to find what I needed.
As a small local Asda it has the basics and some more. Sadly it doesn't have a great range of certain specialist foods, including staples such as gluten free pastry.
This is the third time I have had problems with the self service Staff, they are too busy socialising with each other to do there job and today a member of your self service staff called me a liar, lady with blond hair, PLEASE TRAIN YOUR RUDE STAFF TO BE HELPFUL AND NOT RUDE
Refused to serve me even though i showed valid identification that proved i was of legal age
Hate the place it's got a one-way, 2-way, anyway you like carpark all the tills are self serve and have taken up arms against humanity apart from the tobacco till that's if someone can be bothered to be there then after you've delt with all that you got to leave throw the crowd of local rejects gathered outside
Not bad for a mid week shop. Smaller than a superstore but has all the essentials and more. Has a pizza counter but doesn't allow you to create your own. Same prices as a larger store. Mostly self serve checkouts. Often busy.
For a village supermarket it stocks a wide variety and opening hours are great. Street kids are a pain hanging around and getting In the way. Staff are helpful, but the self service checkout can be a pain. Please bring back manned tills.
You need to change the times you close to 22:57 and not 23:00 as you state! Unbelievable! Thank you very much asda for your brilliant service abd punctuality!
The shop it's self is fine but the staff are nothing more then arrogant!!! I take my mum shopping who is a pensioner and she has trouble using the self service, so I stand behind my mum with my shopping in my hands talking my mum through using the check out. All other shops this isn't a problem even when there is a queue as they can see what I am doing. Asda in south elmsall on the other hand is different, they arrogantly accuse me of jumping the queue. A had the sane thing happen today from a little pr##k and iquickly bit his head off at the same time as doing my best to hold back. Enough is enough!! That's the last time I will go in there.
Easy and convenient visit for essentials. Self checkouts can be frustrating when constantly asking you to remove last item. Also annoying when reduced and discontinued lines go through at full price.
