Dear ASDA Customer Services,nnI am writing to express how disgusted and disappointed I am that ASDA is continuing to have its staff out working in severe snowy conditions.nnToday in Pwllheli, I witnessed a young lad driving one of your vans lose control in the snow. His van slid out, and he then fell and banged his knee when getting out. It was upsetting to watch, and although I wanted to help, I could not as I was only in a car myself and the conditions were extremely dangerous. No one should be put in that position simply to deliver shopping.nnThis raises a serious question: where is ASDA’s duty of care towards its staff? Are their lives and safety really less important than customers receiving their groceries on time? No job should require someone to risk injury or worse just to meet delivery targets in unsafe weather.nnI also want to add that I had placed an order with Morrisons and was told my order had been cancelled due to the weather. Having seen your employee out in those conditions, I am actually glad it was cancelled. I would have felt ashamed knowing someone was risking their life to bring me food in weather like thisnnI strongly urge ASDA to reconsider its decisions during severe weather and to put the safety and wellbeing of its staff first. No delivery is worth someone getting hurt.nnDo betternnA very concerned member of the public.
Sat outside Llangefni Asda this evening, while out late, and waiting for my daughter, there must have been 20/25 teens outside on either side of the doors. Everyone was aware of them.nnOne of the staff tried to move one group on, but it didn't work. They were fighting messing around, taking the signage off the poles, laying on the trolleys, wheeling each other around in them, and generally being rowdy. I'd have thought there was an event on, there were that many of them.nnI know they're just bored, I get it, and we were all there at one point, but there was absolutely no way I was getting into my wheelchair in front of them all, and definitely not wheeling myself through them to go into the shop.nnI know from friends in town, the same groups cause a lot of hassle at night. Perhaps calling the police would start to have an effect.nnWhile ever I visit Cefni, I will be staying away from Asda, when it's like this. I'll just shop at Tesco in Bangor.
As always not enough staff on the tills. Today Fri afternoon only one till open. 4 people in front of me in the queue and 4 behind all with full trollies. Self serve all full as well. Where are the managers to sort this? Surely they are not above serving on the tills to help out at busy times???!!!!
Just had my home delivery and yet again had to send numerous things back because they go out of date today or tomorrow. This is happening all the time. I get a home delivery because I don’t have the time to visit the store so now I will have to find the time to go do there job and pick the stuff myself with decent eatable dates on. Then the driver has done my refund and only refunded part of the stuff I sent back and not the most expensive part which is the meat order!!! I’ve tried to do refund online and if they don’t approve it then I’m going to have to ring them up and be stuck on the phone line with them on my Sunday and hope that I do actually get a refund. Asda has gone down hill with delivery’s and the cost for a delivery slot has gone up so now technically that was a waste of money also with me having to now go in myself. You need to sort this problem out as imagine if I was disabled and this was happening. It’s a joke!!!
You can’t get a fuel receipt from the fuel pumps and when you go into the customer services in store they aren’t allowed to give out fuel receipts. So if need to claim fuel for your business account you can’t. Receipt at point of sale..ADSA Llangefni it’s the law…..
