Sadly have to frequent this store regularly for convenience, though I can confidently say it's never a joyful experience. Rude staff, who are unwilling to help or follow simple tasks such as serving on the kiosk. Regular eye rolls and tuts from many staff members - the two older gents are always by far the rudest though I will say there are 2 or 3 that are pleasant and helpful,. Poor selection of goods and more often out of stock, though this could be to do with the aforementioned staff issues.
Called in today to do some shopping and collect an on line order. Was served by 'Devante'. He was very helpful and offered to help carry my goods to the car as it wasn't possible for me to do in one trip. He was friendly and it felt like nothing was too much trouble. All in all it was a very positive customer experience. He is a credit to your workforce.
Reasonable selection for a smaller shop, although not that good if vegan. I've stopped using the self scan app as every time I use it I end up having to go through a bag check and save no time.
Extremely disappointed with my visit today at Asda. I go there for my regular shop never had a problem. However, today when I visited the store I waited at the till as I had shopping around £100. I put items on the till and one of employee came up to and said that I had to use a self check I ask what was the reason. She said that there weren’t enough employees. I proceeded to say that I’m happy to wait as I had lots of shopping as their self check aren’t sufficient enough for a big shop. One of her other employees came and proceeded to tell me that I had to either leave my shopping or go to the self check out. I decide that I would leave the store when walking out the employee followed me shouting infront of all the customers that I had to put all the iteams back. I explained to her look I come here every week I’m a regular customer you have no problem saving me at the till normally. I’ll wait understand your busy. Instead she told me infront of many customers and the security that I cannot return to the store.nnI would like an apologies from the employee as there was no need to embarrassed in front of the general public. I was doing as I was told her and her colleagues only gave me two options either I can leave my shopping there or use self check. So when I did chose to the leave the shop I was then harassed by her college. Even the Asda security guard said that she was being rude. When I said would like to know your name in order to complain. She walked off and refused to give me her name. This has been a horrible experience and I would like Asda Manger to take further action.
I had an online return to take back. After being told I cannot return it due to it not being in the original shipping packaging I was then told I can. I was told to print the QR code and then place it in the returns slot. After scanning and placing this on I then placed in the returns slot a member of staff then came over and said you didn’t put it in there did you? To which I replied yes I was told to by another member of staff. The member of staff then scoffed at me and told me I would have broken it and then walked off, mumbling under his breath. I have never met such a rude person at any ASDA store.
