Nicely located just of the A9 going into Tain. Has a nice cafe, with friendly staff. Roughly between 8-9 p.m in the evening the discount section lowers the prices to offload goods about to go out of date. Nice steady prices probably more reasonable than Tesco.
Good value especially with alcohol prices. Problems currently with stock deliveries so shelves are often empty. Nice cafe again good value.
Asda in Tain is very good. I usually get my shopping online from them. I have to say, I can not fault the online shopping. I pay the £6 per month to have my shopping delivered. I love the way they send me both an email plus a text message to let me know if an item I have ordered is out of stock, this allows me to change my order before delivery if I so wish. The products, in my opinion are way better than the competitors that I have tried, and very good value for money. Produce is fresher from Asda than the other big supermarket I used to use. I have also visited the store, and found their staff very helpful and plesent.

Not a supermarket I use often. But we'll laid out & reasonable prices. Staff always very helpful. Cafe is clean & all items I have had in the past have been good.
Easy parking for disabled , plenty of trolleys, very friendly and helpful staff especially the young lady on checkout.
If you're Mystic Meg, you'll be fine. If not, there's no menu, you're left with a member of staff having to tell you what the equipment is able to make on the day you're there - fryer was broken today, and there's no display for you to see what's available. Also, soft drinks machine was broken, so it was just the bottled juice that was available. The foods that they could make were very limited so no good if you're on a diet of any sort. You'd be as well looking for a child that's set up a food stall from Mum n Dad's garden, it wouldn't be any less organised!
Was told by a staff member cafe open till six we checked. On driving from Embo through hard rain from a waterlogged campsite get ignored for five minutes to be told the cafe was closing in ten minutes and that they had just served the last food. Happened 4.45 pm on Monday 9th of August 2021. Was told website says six too but should say five pm. Sorry feel really let down and shop and trust Asda wherever we usually are. Poor service will not forget this letdown.
