New to the area and 2nd visit. Impossible to do a shop in the evenings due to the end of the isles being blocked.  Fed back to the red haired male manager. He said "no one has ever complained before" and walked off.  His arrogance and lack of any customer service means we will now drive further to Tesco instead from now on.

I am a wheelchair user. Only 2 wide aisle tills open when I visited today! I spoke to an Asda member of staff and tried to explain they were breaking the law and The Equality Act states disabled people must be afforded same level of service as able bodied shoppers. She was more than happy that only 2 out of 24 tills were available for me to use. An appalling lack of awareness and the indifference shown towards me beggared belief! For a national store to have such a disregard for it's customers is a disgrace

They need to add more changing room upstairs. Create one specially for men because last time I was there d queue was long taking turn. Women naturally takes time to change so create space for men

We visited on a Monday afternoon our first time in this store we did not encounter any issues with the store it's self however the woman on the cheek out was one of the most ignorant people I have ever come across in that particular job she was holding a full conversation with the person in front of us she clearly knew this person and just continued talking to her even after she had finished serving her and she went on and on she never even made eye contact with me absolutely! Appalling customer service.

Drove to Asda Boldon for my weekly shop. Not local to me at all but fancied somewhere different for my shopping. There were no scan and go guns in the entrance so asked a staff member if there were any available as I have back trouble and find this easier. They said yes I’ll go and get some. We waited and waited and then noticed around the other side of the scan and go charging unit there was activity. The staff member had put 3 guns in and other customers had taken them!!! We’ve walked out and will go to Sainsbury from now on!! Disgraceful !!

Great supermarket, we did a late evening shop and it was quiet, pleasant and still full of all the items we needed. A great 24 hours shop if you need anything quickly :

Went in today with my 9 year old for my child's uniform and was followed non stop for 20 minutes by staff members so I left without any uniform and won't be using again.

Just popped into the cafe for a hot chocolate and latte with my friend. Very impressed with the drinks and the friendliness of the staff...really cheery and good humoured. Ang served us and was a lovely helpful woman. Will definitely be back. Kev.

Great Asda store Has everything you could possibly need The Pharmacy is open extra late which has came in handy over the years The cafe upstairs is great, lots of cheap comfort food. They now have a Greggs in the pizza aisle

Having just bought “21 “ helium balloons for my sons birthday  literally 3 hrs ago the number 1 has deflated, not happy at all , have picture to prove what a joke !!!!
