Do not even attempt to use the toilets! I’ve seen better toilets on building sites. Was going to get some lunch after using them. But after seeing the state of the toilets I walked straight back out. Actually feel sick after experiencing that ill fated disaster. I feel so sorry for the regular customers. Disabled toilet closed as well. That is absolutely not good enough. Cubicles in the men’s closed off.
The worst Asda store around. The staff are rude & ignorant. The happy to help badges should not be in use at this store. The george click and collect shuts before it’s even supposed to. The staff spend more time chatting to each other than paying attention to customers. Some of the staff dont even know what they are doing and will palm you off with untrue excuses to cover the fact they clearly need some training. I have been to many many asda stores over the country and never have i come across one like this. 5 stars to every other asda store i have ever been too but this one needs looking in to. Asda havant is the better option
It's a weird store. Different experiences everytime. I sent this photo via twitter recently. Since it's been ever so slightly better, there's always rubbish on the floor and delivery just seems to be chucked everywhere except the shelves. Half the staff don't wear a uniform and 90% of staff couldn't care less about their job or customers. Last night was slightly tidier but there's never any fresh or frozen produce, only keep dry goods properly stocked. Staff just walk around on their phone and will do anything they can to be in your way. The best thing about the store is the Guinea Pig cups/duvets etc etc and late evening pharmacy hours. I just wish they'd keep the shop in a tidier state and better stocked, it's very close to my house but there is a Sainsbury's just over the road with nice staff, stock and its cleaner so after last night I will go there until it improves. The prices were also cheaper in Sainsbury's!! And was very tempted to head back to Asda to refund bits after this because of that. And the prices in Sainsburys on the shelves match the till, the shelf prices in asda waterlooville show a lower price than the till on many occasions. I would up the stars if they can keep stock levels higher and teach staff basic customer service.
You go in and you have packaging all over the floor, no one stocking until late evening. All the staff are picking food for online customers when no stock on shelves and you have a pizza section that is closed every day before 3pm even on weekends….. worst Asda around
Clean but it's never stocked, packing trolleys always all over the place, pallets just dumped in the middle of isles. They don't care about the customers here. Everyone is a suspect for theft. Self checkout where you do their job for them is a complete nightmare, you wait at least 5 minutes for a member of staff to come assist you if anything goes wrong and then you get someone who is in another universe.
Worked here recently as a Twilight Stocker. Direct managers and colleagues are/were great, very friendly and helpful. The 'big' management, ie store manager, is awful especially with issues around pay, with very little communication. Almost everyday I heard stories about how staff were called at unreasonable hours in the morning just to be shouted at and fortunately that was not something I ever had to experience firsthand. This culture comes down from head office who see the store as a cash cow- very little budget, but very high profitability. Every staff member with years of experience all say the same thing- "it didn't use to be this way" pretty much verbatim. It's disappointing as before I'd always felt that Asda were an ethical company, obviously that was wrong. Family, aunts and all, have been shopping here for 20+ years as it's the local shop, but with quality, pricing, and availability issues, plus the way they've treated me, all have decided to shop elsewhere indefinitely. Oh, and a parting note, fix the toilets. Another review here from 5yrs ago says the toilets have been leaking for the last 5yrs. It's now 10yrs later and the toilets are still leaking, dripping sewage literally onto the floor, and only sometimes in buckets. I'm sure that's what the smell is at the top of the crisp aisle- it's directly above the men's toilets.
Shabby, very poorly stocked, untidy shelves with large gaps. No shop floor staff. Only checkout. Should have a sign saying "Going Out of Business". Many of their prices have doubled in recent months, yet they have the cheek to have marked as "New Reduced Price".
We missed one thing in our scan and go and they made us wait for them to scan £500 worth or things. Stupid place .
I had to pick up from the collection point and I had to wait more than 1 hour and half. The staff is keeping the door shut ignoring the knocking on the door. I'm very disappointed. If I could rate with zero stars would be closer to the truth!
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Online order and this is the third time that the staff in store just can't be bothered. No replacement soup or bread? Terrible. I would strongly suggest if ordering from this store online: order lots of alternatives because they will not bother looking for what you've actually requested or a replacement.
