Customer service useless phoned 3 times about a order that didn't arrive the day before. Still no outcome.nAlways out of stock of regular items.nI've had delivers and had half of it missing.nI'm disabled and on disability money I can't afford to be out of money because my order is still waiting they have it on hold in my bank.nSo I haven't money to use somewhere else.nI haven't eaten since yesterday morning.nI will be going elsewhere from now on.nThe only good thing about asda is their drivers always helpful and kind.nShame about the rest.
Five Stars for your delivery staff. Nil stars for management. We live in Stalbridge, Dorset, DT10 2LH and have regular ASDA Deliveries. We are pensioners and one of us is partially disabled. We depend upon store deliveries and all is well. Well, until delivery staff stated that no time is made available for them to await customer's verification of grocery orders received. This absurdity of mis-management on the part of their supervisors implies that badly damaged items, incorrect items and 'substituted items' cannot be corrected at the point of delivery by customer checks. This unsatisfactory mode of operation results in poor retail performance due to lack of customer care. This misunderstanding of the prime principles of good business housekeeping indicates a need for in depth training of supervisory and senior staff. All links in a supply chain of any operation must be subject to checking for correct content. I have here identified a serious - hopefully local - failing in the Dorset/Somerset delivery area which has to be addressed. On a customer experience level, it takes very little time to take things out of the Trug and put them straight into correct storage than it would take to pile them willy nilly on the kitchen table. Staff waited less than 6 minutes for all checking and storage and correction of substitution and this includes time for them to unload onto the doorstep and for the discussion that followed which revealed the unrealistic delivery times instructed to them by management. We are charged for this service, between £3.50 - 5.00 per slot. Which works out at quite a goodly hourly rate. We spend on average £130 per week with ASDA. While this might be small by many customer standards, to us it is a very large percentage of our State Pension income. We must check that everything is OK and as ordered. Excellent service at ASDA opticians Owlcotes today with Lesley Cresswell.nThere were problems with my appointment, which she resolved promptly, then she communicated on my behalf with Specsavers and although my prescription was not available, suggested and ordered for home deivery.nWhat could have been a stressful visit was made into a success.nThank you
Took £69.50 for delivery pass then cancelled it, took nearly a month to get my money back and had no delivery pass while I waited! There had been several other issues since their computer updates but this was my worst one. My delivery pass didn't renew, even though it was set to auto renew, so had to purchase a new one on 31st October 2025, then received an email on 2nd November to say payment couldn't be taken and my pass was cancelled. I checked my bank and the payment of £69.50 had been taken on 1st November. I called customer service and was told there are technical issues since they've had the new system and a refund would be issued in 5 days, which didn't happen. I made 12 phone calls over a period of 3 weeks taking 3 hours of my time on these calls, plus a further couple of hours providing screen shots of my Asda account and bank account to prove I DIDN'T have a pass and Asda HAD taken my money. Customer service was always very polite when they didn't cut me off and did issue a couple of e-vouchers to cover my delivery costs while I waited, however they always gave the same answer - I'll escalate it and you'll get refund! I was also told there wasn't a formal complaint procedure. I did email headoffice but didn't get a reply, although customer service did have access to that email, as I found out on one of my many phone calls. Eventually the final chap I rang on 21st November said he would escalate it to the 'correct' team this time payments and fraud and I would get a refund within 48 hours. By this time I was resigned to the fact I had no chance of seeing my money again, but 3 days later I finally received the £69.50 refund - 24 days later! Needless to say I now have a delivery pass with another supermarket, as I couldn't cope with the stress and frustration of something similar happening again. I do like Asda, and might return next year, assuming they haven't collapsed AND have sorted all their technical issues! Sorry for the lengthy review, but I'm hoping it might encourage others to continue to pursue their issues, as I've seen many who have had similar problems on these posts. I also hope the Asda CEO reads these reviews and understands these issues cause frustration, heartache and tears. Please get your systems sorted. Thank you
