This is my local shop. It's basically a mini version of the 'big' shop. You can get most things there's just less of the items. It's rare I can't find what I need. It's great for the top up mid week shop. Some people in our area use it for there big shop as you can get pretty much every thing you need. Fresh produce. Chiller and frozen items. Herbs and spices. You can fill your cupboard with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff are lovely too, very friendly, approachable and always very helpful.
Couldn’t stand the place. Staff are strange. Unhelpful to most. Overworked. There’s not a great deal in store. Obv it’s located in edlo which stands for no class but come on at least act like you can do a job.
Well stocked friendly and toilet Nice hot meat counter
Absolutely disgusted at the customer service i received today collecting an order. An older lady on the desk at around 10.30 served me and said one thing throughout the entire transaction "code?" THAT IS IT. No hello, no won't be a minute but more importantly no thank you and just 'chucked' my parcel onto the desk in front of HER scanner, not even in front of me and started to do something else. I wasn't even sure she had finished and thought maybe it required a sticker or something which is why she had turned her back on me but nope just the rudest person i had ever met without even the excuse of it being busy because i was the only one in the Queue at the entire checkout. Won't be going again.
All ways happy to help. What a load of rubbish is that slogan is. Management rude. Would not open another till. Staff seem nice and talkative, some with a smile but they just don't seem to help out. im Allways waiting in a queue Staff dont seem to hurry in this place. 20mins standing in a queue GET RID OF THE PAY POINT DEVICE OR AT LEAST PUT TWO PEPOLE ON THAT TILL! too much for one person to do. Parcels, lotto, cigs, pay point, there on till and checking the self scanners
A smaller Asda, not a lot of their own brand stuff though.
I am disabled and in a wheelchair. I visited Edlington branch on Friday 29 Oct to get a couple of things.. It must have seemed that I was struggling, as a floor assistant by the name of Rihanna came over and asked if I needed help, upon which she took my basket and helped with my shopping, put my groceries through the till, then bagged them up.. she offered to carry my bag out to the car, but I declined her offer.. what a wonderful young lady and an asset to your store.. you need more like her. Never more than 1 checkout active even when the queue is going down the aisle due to people wanting to use the kiosk. Left standing at self service for too long when there's something that needs approval.
Treat disabled customers with contempt. No trollies to attach to wheelchair and they never open tills and make you use the kiosk which is too high up for wheelchair users. Complained several times, not done anything about it. I'm not asking for much, just for people to be able to shop there. Also, if you use the self scan machines, avoid buying anything with an age limit as you'll be waiting for at least 10 minutes for someone to come and approve it.
Supermarket is perfectly fine. One staff member though, Lorraine Robb, is known to let known thieves into the store at certain times in order to shoplift. A very dodgy character that needs disciplining by the stores management.
