When I don't have a choice I shop there unfortunately.. I agree staff at sub standard electronic never works first time seem stressed all the time.. you can't find a bag and it makes for a not very happy task that in this day and age should be super easy they at tge top decided to make it super frustrating. Won't go if I don't have too. Massive pat on the back to the bellend that thought these staff free checkouts were a good idea.
The staff are really stretched as they have to be in 3 places at once but the lady on the parcels checkout was so helpful, even though she had about 4 people waiting for her she got our parcel and seen to everyone fairly, bless her it was so busy and she didn’t lose patience she just took it in her stride, I’m not sure on her name but she told us she is nearly 50 and she had lots of time for my little girl, and that goes a long way
Never any staff around. The self serve always goes wrong, and nobody comes for ages They have limited items of stock. Anything remotely different is not here. Seabass is not often sold. Expensive items are rarely to be seen. Queues are always long, service is slow. This is the most frustrating store I frequent, it really is. Better to go to the trafford centre Staff are miserable, non communicative, and unhelpful.
Outrageous that staff in this store have to listen to the ordering system behind the counter pinging away all day, It was bad enough being in the store and putting up with it for 5 mins, come on Asda H&S get it sorted out!!
It could be four, but when you want to use PayPoint you can't pay card or contactless , because of,, connection to till" , in current time 2020 in supermarket as ASDA it is ridiculous not funny, but staff is friendly and helpful.
Absolutely brilliant staff. I hadn’t noticed that an item I had bought was split open, because I couldn’t see properly, due to wearing contact lenses. The lady on the till immediately asked another assistant to quickly replace the item. percent customer service/satisfaction at this store All day long .
It is almost entirely self service and you have to ask them to open a conveyor belt till when you have a trolley full of shopping and then wait for someone to appear. Lots of staff moving around inside the store but never any that want to make eye contact around when needed at the self service tills.
Thank you to Mike the Duty manager for sorting a problem I had with Uber Eats ! Professional and problem sorted in no time.
Just been today morning in the store with my little girl, that I was carrying. There was a lovely gentleman working called Steve that helped me with the bags to get to the car. It's been a long time since the last act of kindness from someone towards me. Huge Thank you Steve! People like you will change to world, will never forget the kindness.
Only one till was open for a big shop. The rest were self serve. I don't like using self service. Also it felt like I was being a inconvenience to the member of staff that was told to serve me. The store is clean and plenty of choice.
