This store has consistently gone down hill over the past year. Even after the so called improvements, not much point having nice new fittings if there's nothing in them. Cardboard everywhere on the floor, fresh items with very short shelf life making it almost impossible to do a weekly shop. Something is also growing behind the drinks display, food hygiene inspectorsnshould visit, I genuinely think they would shut them down. Shame as this used to be a great store.
I have lived in chandlers ford for over a year now and Asda is the nearest and convenient store to shop. However am very disappointed with the store. The shelves are untidy and nearly every week when I visit many shelves are empty. I am sure the veg and fruit are not fresh as they have a very short shelf life and I am always having to throw things away. Also price tickets are not always in the appropriate place so have to check regularly. Recently I visited the Asda store in Southampton what a difference very tidy and welcoming all shelves were full and neatly put on shelf. Also the staff were very helpful and glad to help us. As a result of my disappointment I now go to aldi in Eastleigh and only visit Asda for things I can’t get there.nnIt is such a shame as if some money was spent it could be so much better. Also the staff in Eastleigh seem disinterested as if management do not appreciate their worth.
I popped into the store while on holiday with my elderly mother; we became separated & the security guard jay couldn't have been more helpful..he told me not to worry.. he would sort the matter & find my mum...he did & I couldn't be more great full. He was great with my mum making her laugh..so glad he was there to help.
Disgusting mince beef!! Bought a pack the others day and it’s just horrible ended up feeding it to my dog by mixing it in with his usual raw meat and the dog food looked better! Won’t be shopping here until they go go back to the old packages
I keep going back to see if it changes - it doesn't. Consistently bare and empty shelves but it is always packed so people must love going here.nMe personally hate it. Officially my last visit as of today. Never again.
