I have to hand it to the team at the pharmacy here - they did me a solid. I had spent hours on NYE trying to get medicine for my sister and when I thought it was finally sorted, it turned out the prescription hadn’t been sent over. The amazing lady working at around 7pm on NYE went above and beyond to get the prescription sorted, and even spent ages on the phone with Shropdoc to get it signed! I cannot sing her praises enough but unfortunately I do not have her name. It would have been much easier for her to just say the prescription hadn’t come through and sent me on my way but she really put the effort in and now my sister finally has her medicine which had been worrying me all day. Thank you so much to the team at the pharmacy!
Big store, big carpark. Also has a petrol station. Costa store inside, self scan available and the cigarette sales are out of sight. Overall a tidy store and plenty of space in and out.
Quick visit to asda Had a look around the store took a few pictures. Due to a few people going to the store over the weekend they have empty the shelfs of toilet roll. A few of the baby things are short on stock as well.
Had to go into Asda Donnington today 21st April O M G what has happened to that store ! It was 10.06 and the shelves were bear!! The bread all had 22nd or 23rd on them and the shelves were half empty. The end isles were mostly empty and full of empty cardboard boxes. The fridge contents had 28th at the front, 25th in the middle and 22nd at the back! The bakery had yesterday's bread on the shelves stating bake me fresh! and the baps had 21st on them! So much for FRESH bread. Dont think I'm going to be going in there again
I don’t like this store I was upset by a store member making a comment about my clothing. I won’t ever go to this Asda again lot of staff are rude very badly managed indeed, the women was security guard inside door she said my knickers were showing I was wearing shorts and T-shirt I’m apalled by what she said to be honest doesn’t make me want to come back to the store my family couldn’t believe it either x I appreciate the response I didn't feel I was in any way dressed in appropriate I was wearing thongs so can't be showing any knickers my friends were appalled when I told them too It’s unfair because it’s my local Asda and I feel unwelcome to return …? It’s caused me a lot of issues it’s hard being in transition from male to female it’s had huge impact on me you could not imagine ? But it’s put me off in case she comments on how I’m dressed if I come in store again and it’s shame because I like coming to that Asda can I have assurance I won’t be engaged but her again over how I’m dressed which considering it was shorts and T-shirt was not in appropriate it’s really hit me this has and I’m a confident girl my transition was going well until people like her choose to knock it
On the 09/09/2022 my wife and i went to Asda at Donnington to do some shopping.On the 16/09/2022 i received a parking chargefor £70. I was not awear that you only have 3 hours for shopping. I haved lived in Donnington for68 years. i find this very S--t of your company to not have this information in side the store on a poster.Iwill from now on and my wife will no longer shop at your store. i expect this review will be ignored
The reason I have given asda 2 stars is not for the food section of this store but for the blatant extortionate price of the fuel, in the last week wholesale fuel prices have dramatically fallen. I had to fill up today and diesel was at £1.81 per litre, there are independent garages selling at £1.68 per ltr, admittedly not in Telford but in Shropshire, maybe this is how they subsidise roll backs, given the current situation in the UK, SHAME on any retailers ripping loyal customers OFF.
Went after dropping kids off at school, got there before 9am and the place is dead. Managed to go round finding everything I wanted. Went to a normal checkout and there were only 2 open and both had more than 4 people each queuing, only gripe.
Please be aware that items on a shelf with the price shown below may not be the price you pay when you get to the till, this is apparently due being to busy and not enough staff to ensure items correctly priced and it is down to the customer to read the ticket correctly, I was told “nothing he could do”
I took the escalator to the upper floor, and checked out the reduced section at the far end. Avoided buying anything, in spite of temptation. Back downstairs, I picked up some stir fry, fabric dressing strips aka plasters, and some window cleaning liquid. Used self checkout as I only had 3 items. Looked over the small cafe too. They seem to sell some rich cakes.
