Accidentally visited this grocery store before my destination to Primark. Looked for Scotland Cookies which I found in small shop in London City Center. But I got nothing here, just some chocolates. So far, the store was clean and the signages show everything clearly
When I dropped one item on the self check out and completely ruined one very kind staff helped me to bring the new one from shelf so quickly, her name is Chloe and I am very grateful for her help.. just as word awesome.. thx again dear...
I like this store. In addition to the extensive assortment, there is a pharmacy,a Click and collect department, you also can send money abroad Travel Money and,if desired, print a photo from your phone. In addition to food, drink,a large selection of clothing ,shoes, George accessories - it is convenient. There are also three payment methods - the usual queue tape, vending machine and using a mobile device, for every taste. The staff is friendly and adds to the overall positive picture!
Very well stocked store always very cold in store Staff full of attitude A lot of Asian and halal food for sale Very good deals on air fryers MONA LISA£60 giant photo frame When I mean big it’s big decent pic
Understaffed and staff obviously abused and taken advantage of here ! slaves have it better than this stores employees They need to prioritize staff welfare and customers the fact their priority is money and profit not customers experience or staff all these computers and only one available hand held device in the whole store to deal with self scan porly laid out and not freindly towards disabled people tired and exhausted staff to have so few staff not to be able to adjust stock is shameful, toilets dirty and shameful if thease toilets are this dirty I would hate to see all the other areas at this store environment health would have a field day. Bring back the cashiers and staff, treat them better and if your unable to do a good or at least try sell your chain to someone who can and stop the money grab. Also no managers available and according to many staff they don't care won't do anything and are always worried about money and profit not the staff and have also stated they are not treated well. Shameful and disgraceful ASDA
My partner and I were rudely harassed by the self check out man named Neil with glasses and a ear piece. We had a big shop and for some reason the self check out kept beeping for no reason even before scanning items, Neil would sort it and walk off and come back when it would beep again. Obviously a faulty machine. We had a few bulky items and scanned the items and clicked bagged on the screen as I didn’t want to keep moving the bulky items from trolley to checkout stand then back into trolley, so we scanned item and put it back in the trolley and clicked the option “bagged item”. We paid for receipt and tried to walk out but neil ran after us shouting at the top of his voice about not paying for our shopping which was not true. Please retrain your staff as this is unacceptable
They recently changed the shelving and everything is a mess. For example, they have packets of spices with the Indian section and then the same ones in another section with the middle eastern/Turkish brands in a completely different isle. Whoever set it up, was not thinking abour what is logical for any customer. I watched others and everyone is wandering around looking for things while when you go to other supermarkets nearby you can see everyone is on a mission to get their shopping done quickly and efficiently. If you are a shopper you want the spices all in one place, toilet care all in one place could not find wet wipes today, then they have the baby stuff next to food on the same isle...They always run out of mint and similar fresh herbs and if you want pulses then good luck finding them: you have one brand at the end of an isle, and then other brands in some other isle. Just feels not logical and a mess. I just go sometimes to buy a few things I know where they keep, eg their dry yeast, but have to go to Sainsburys around the corner if I want to do a normal shop where I find everything I need.
A shop with good prices. Inside you can find products from different countries. The fresh grill is not the best in taste, but it's good for a quick lunch.
Grand asda store including george outlet also. Also offers click and collect. Has scan and go option which is very handy, pick up your scanner at start, keep scanning every item and go through separate checkout at the end. There is also a party, cards section at the start which is quite good.
Today I went into Asda and needed a trolley but their trolleys are still chained to each other not sure why still and to get one you have to have a pound. Well I didn't have one, I don't carry cash anymore let alone a pound. A male employee happened to be pushing trolleys to the shed and I just complained within his ear shot that their trolleys are still chained and need a pound to release one and who carries a pound these days . He replied 'many do actually' and I thought that would be be end of my shopping drinks which I knew would be heavy. But he went on to release one and pushed it my way. I was so happy at this small but helpful act. It really made my day. Little acts of kindness. Thank you Asda male employee, I did say thank you very much at the time but I still felt I need to say thank you again. And do not tire of being kind, I know customers aren't always kind to you
