Be careful not to use a card to pay if it's been stopped or you've reached your transaction limit. Asda will still charge £4 as a fee. And contacting customer service to attempt to get the money back is like trying to find Schrödinger's cat. Also, having known someone who previously worked at this store, the time for transferring refrigerated foodstuffs from truck to shelf is [apparently] very slow. You probably should buy things like milk elsewhere, especially during summer.
It was very good. A massive change since I worked there and called in shopping with my ex partner. The staff will always help if you ask, they are kind, caring, friendly and very professional at all times. I can sympathize with staff in the retail sector, as you can feel really unwell or bad inside, but you are told when training that you must smile however bad or unwell you are feeling at any moment in time.
Vagrants on the doorstep 24/7 sometimes drunk, staff don’t care, prices are outrageous on anything branded. Disgrace of a supermarket. 2 weeks later, nothing has been done about it. It's -2 degrees arctic conditions and they're still sat on the doorstep begging for money from customers. I think Asda like having them there because they increase sales from all the soft hearts buying them bits. Shockingly expensive supermarket and being pestered for money on the way in and out. Will never frequent again.
Just spent £90 on multiple pairs of pyjamas for the kids and 3 items had wrong size hangers on. Really annoyed but too far out to bother returning. They weren't the sale rail either. I should've checked yes but I I shouldn't have to, its not a back street store.
Good called in and forgot why I called. The staff were friendly and if you needed help in any way all you need do is ask. The store was immaculate and was always being looked at by cleaning staff as the reputation of the store does help
Dear ASDA Management, I am writing to express my concern and disappointment regarding the presence of beggars engaging in disruptive and uncivilized behavior at the entrance of your store. On multiple occasions, I have observed these individuals engaging in aggressive behavior, fighting, and leaving their belongings and clothes scattered, creating an uncomfortable and concerning environment for customers, including my family. This situation not only detracts from the welcoming atmosphere of your store but also poses a potential safety risk for customers. It's disheartening to witness such disturbances at a place where families, including expecting mothers, shop regularly. I understand the complexity of such social issues, but I urge ASDA management to take proactive measures to address this situation, ensuring the safety and comfort of all customers. Finding a way to assist these individuals while maintaining a safe and pleasant shopping environment would be greatly appreciated. I hope this matter receives your immediate attention and that steps are taken to rectify these circumstances. Your swift action would not only alleviate concerns but also reaffirm ASDA's commitment to providing a secure and welcoming shopping experience for all customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Watch out for the psycho polish shelf stacker. An aggressive, dangerous man who used to work at Valentinos kebab shop, off his head.
I appreciate there's a wholefood section for diversity but none in the frozen aisle. Hence no halal approved meat/chicken. Resorting to vegan meats. This is a waste of a trip everytime. Always resort to ordering online instead.
I would like to know why there were no poppy’s being sold at this store? It is a very important day/weekend in the British Calendar to recognise the sacrifices of the armed forces & there were none to purchase. Absolutely disgusted that you cater for everyone else but the people who wish to honour our fallen men, women & animals this is part of our heritage & history that once made our country great!!!
Since when as the customer had to run round the store to get an item with a barcode on, because when you get to the till your item doesn’t have one and the checkout assistant says sorry you need to get on with a code on do you want this item, when I worked at Asda staff helped in these times. Really put me off going in my local store again. Wasn’t till this morning I thought about it what about customer service. There’s me apologising to people in the queue because it wasn’t my fault there was no ticket on it.
