There is a rumour from staff that the controlled checkouts will be done away with & replaced with self serve. This apparently makes way with retiring staff not being replaced. Great shame for for senior customers who don't get on with technology but also would preferred to be served by a human being & interactivity with staff. This is purely speculative from staff comments. Our main shopping is done here as parking is good customer rewards scheme is good. So wait and see how things progress.
Staff try hard but seem to be poorly led - often there are gaps on shelves. Often difficult to get a trolley, you have to go round the car park to find one. The car park is a nightmare for pedestrians, today we visited and there was a van and trailer parked right by the zebra crossing obscuring the vision for both pedestrains and drivers; the driver clearly gave scant regard for pedestrian safety or the highway code. ASDA need to enforce the parking rules better.
Good Shop but some shelves can randomly be sparsely stocked.
manager does not employ staff who can do the job. very unorganised store and very misleading. will be shopping elsewhere.
Asda biggleswade is set back off the main centre of town behind the banking services on the high street set on the old brewery site there is ample std carparking and dedicated disabaled bays by the front of Store ANPR CAMARA CONTROLED PARKING at the entrance. let the Cc desk know you need more time by giving your car registation no:ninstore baker, fish monger, butcher, ect, ect, and home entertainment dept covers your main shopping requierments.
