Absolutely delicious food, everything we had was piping hot and wonderfully cooked. The portion sizes are very generous and the Jo Jo’s fried potatoes are awesome and must be tried! The fish is fresh and the batter light and not stodgy. Delivery was super quick and the driver friendly, polite and courteous. I highly recommend this place and everything on the menu but you must try those fried potatoes!!
Great food at affordable prices. Stopped in for some kebab, and couldn't have been happier. Owners went out of their way to look after my family. Everything was well cooked and spot on in quality and price, plus all done in good time. Also, if you are an Aussie and craving a potato cake, the potato fritters here are GREAT!
Gone down hill just had bean mix now not expecting load of beans but this is ridiculous. Had a not so good fish last time so will not be going back.Food: 2/5
New owners have destroyed the place.chips were the best I've tasted and an amazing portion size..now they're double dipped,full of bad bits,cold and shockingly small portion. Disappointed to find the other owner has moved on, because he knew how to run a chippy!!

First time ordering from here , was told delivery would be 30 minutes 45 minutes delivery arrives , food was ok But they forgot to send my drinks , rang shop and was advised they would send driver back with drinks , waited 30 minutes before ringing them back only to be told that driver was on another delivery and would then be doing another delivery before he would bring my drinks, now let me summarise I ordered drinks to have with my food , not for when they had gone through my digestive system and exited my body , I feel the customer experience I’ve experienced is very very very poor You’ve had my money but then feel you can take as long as you want to correct your mistakes Needless to say I WONT be using ascot fish bar no more Absolutely shocked and dissatisfied by your lack of customer service
Absolutely love this place, wouldn't order from anywhere else now.They are serving tasty and good quality of food. I’m in just with this place. i think one of the best fish and chips in Derby. Amazing staff, Fantastic food! Great portions and always friendly with smiles on their faces. Highly recommended ! Ascot Fish Bar
The food is made fresh and tastes amaizing - full of flavour. I like their kebab, it was soft and had lovely bold flavours. I also had the fried wings, grilled fish and chips. Really really great flavour. I will surely be buying my fish and chips from here going forwards. Looking forward to trying the frilles chicken. The staff is also friendly.
Brilliant customer service and food is very good. Also price is very good and reasonable
