Absolutely wonderful house with lovely staff. I'd like to give a special thank you to the chefs during my stay for being so kind and serving incredible food that was from such a diverse range of countries! Hebden Bridge is a bit cold but the beds are very comfy, and the bathrooms are easy to use. There is a good range of facilities and beautiful nature. The retreat took me on a very personal and deep journey. All the best.
Beautiful setting to write and learn from wonderful instructors and fall into a weirdly healthy schedule
Wonderful, life-changing experience
I have just come back from a 5 day fiction course at the Hurst near Craven Arms. It was absolutely brilliant in all respects. Two published authors were our tutors for the week, Patrick Neate & Jess Richards. The workshops were varied, fun and hugely informative. We all learnt so much & new friendships were forged. The course totally exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to improve their writing skills. The accommodation, food, service and support from all team members was exceptional.
I went on a residential trip there between Mon 16th - Fri 21st Aug 2021 to do some creative writing and poetry. I really enjoyed it there. The view from outside is amazing and the staff there were very helpful. I can’t wait to go there next year!
