Wish I had seen David Hornes review before I went to Arthur Dagnall he comes across as being very nice. I went there to look at a Renault captur for my daughter took it out for a test drive came back and said I want her to drive it herself to see if she likes it, This was on a monday she could only get time off work on Thursday morning.So he said ok but I will need £300 to keep it till then, which I paid.Then on Wednesday morning I rang to say we had a problem and decided we did not want the car He got very angry on the phone .Arthur Dagnalls answer to that was your not getting your money back, you do whatever you think you must do I've spent it on a M.O.T. and a service. And I am not continuing with this conversation and slammed the phone down. I thought all his cars come with an M.O.T. and a service , Neither did I ask him, or authorise him to do any work whatsoever. my advice is keep well away I lost £300 in 3 days he turns very nasty when things don't go his way.

Staff come across nice when buying there and promise you the earth my dad bought a car not long ago and it had prblems he took it bk 3 times and 4 time they had it all day and said they have fixed it within hours of getting the car bk it broke down again my dad was left all over xmas with a car that was dangerous to drive he took the car directly to volvo for a diagnostic report who found the problem straight away and told him that who ever tried to fix this had no idea at all my dad was given a courtesy car from artur dagnall to use for a day while they supposed have fixed his car it had no fuel very dirty no headlight and stunk of smoke this just explains what this garage think of there customers my dad had the car fixed at volvo for £54 pounds went bk to arthur dagnall and told him he had it fixed and asked for them to pay the bill from volvo to show good will and arthur dagnalls comment was you got no chance of any money of me the car was supposed to come with 6 months warranty .the warranty is not worth a carrot i strongly advise people to give this garage a wide birth and think twice before going there I would never buy another thing from them again and hope no one else experience the same problem

Great service received from a reliable garage, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good second hand car in St.Helens.
