This store is amazing. I am fan of Hello Kitty, Totoro and other Japanese characters. If you are a fan as well, this place is a must. Really nice organised by themes. The have a good variety of stuff. It gets crowded really quickly as the place is not big. You must need to to wait outside but it is worth to wait.
For fans of Pusheen and all cute cartoons, such as BTS, Hello Kitty and more! If you're a fan, this place is a must! With everything from mugs to pencils, baby food bowls to silk shirts. Top quality merchandise, fabulous staff making everyone feel so very welcome! Its a small shop so limited customers allowed entry at once. We had to queue up outside for our turn, but got in within around 20-30 minutes. So much to choose, well laid out and amazing staff. Well worth a visit!
Amazing hub of everything kawaii! A must see for a fan of cute things like pusheen, sanrio, bt21 and more. Great, colourful displays. It's worth going to see even if you don't intend of buying anything. The only downsides were the high prices to be expected since it's all imported and there was not nearly enough staff when I was there in the morning. Only one girl who couldn't possibly do everything so a lot of people were left to wait.
It's a bit too crammed for me, but my teenage daughters ALWAYS love it. I'm a bit unfair: I'm old and I'm not this store's target audience. I usually stay outside. This little shop is lovely, full of wonderful, colourful, tiny Japanese stuff. The online shop is more my scene
Very small cute shop, you should go here if you want some cute new apparel, plushies, BT21 merch, and pusheen. You can even buy kimonos! Around £170.
Staff is really nice. The store isn’t big but it is popular so it gets crowded easily. The window decor is soo cute and they have a great selection of merchandise. Though a little disappointed at the lack of Badtz Maru merch. They have a lot of the main Sanrio characters Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, etc as well as SanX, LINE Friends and BT21. They have some pyjamas, kimono, jackets and dresses as well.
Lovely store tucked away in Covent Garden. I have visited for years and also shopped when the store popped up at Comic-Con too. Always welcoming lovely staff. I like to shop here for Re-Ment figures. I've seen numerous reviews mention the queue which has grown bigger as the store has become more popular. I understand that the queue is not short but I am a patient person who is happy to wait to enter what is a very small store containing a lot of small items that I imagine could be easily stolen if the store was crowded. I also actually really like that they limit the number of customers who enter as it makes it a more pleasant shopping experience. I would also like to praise the staff member on the door last time I visited. She encountered a very rude person who yelled at her about how the queue was "borderline immoral" and demanded to be let in without queueing. The staff member took this all on her shoulder and was able to continue to be just as lovely as before she encountered the person. Artbox is full of lovely things that can spread joy so why can't we all be a bit more considerate of others. I doubt the person I encountered would also yell at the Lego Store or a luxury brand for making them queue to enter.
The staff are really nice! They have really cute Sanrio stuff :
I live quite far from London and have been planning a "birthday treat" for some time, including an exciting visit to Artbox I had hoped. This review refers to Covent Garden. Small businesses need all the possible support, but I must admit...I was underwhelmed by various factors: 1 - The never ending 40+ minutes queue understandable since the shop itself is quite small. 2 - The staff lady continuously checking on her phone standing by the door. 3 - The nearly empty shelves. 4 - The aggressive presence of certain characters as opposed to a more fair distribution. Due to low variety and waiting times, I would definitely recommend shopping online if you know exactly what you are looking for. What a shame
Not worth the wait. Waited almost an hour to get inside and not much merchandise or variety to justify spending money, even after feeling obliged to spend something after waiting there for an hour. Yes, the shop is small, but you could definitely fit more people in than what the staff member was letting in. They didn't allocate all available spaces either. If there are 3 spaces, and the next party is a party of 2, they only let 2 in. They could at least ask down the line for single people to get the queue moving more.
