Very late busses all the time bus timetables are never correct and the app is pretty useless and is full of bugs. These busses don't seem to get cleaned either inside or outside and this makes the windows very difficult to see out of and people regularly miss there stop due to this and the drivers aren't very happy about that and get very argumentative with the service users . Not the best service and the ticket prices are much higher than stagecoach too. I am disabled and the drivers never put the drop down for me as I'm young and when I sue my concessionary bus pass again being young I'm judge and have been asked many times why I need this by arica bi's drivers which is very discriminatory towards me
1st day at Arriva to start my training. Everyone has been friendly and the company seem like their staff and customers welfare come before anything else. Good sign.
The live feed for bus arrival is most times wrong. In my opinion, some drivers are racist. They won't stop for me if my hand is raised a split second late, they will move while you are trying to pick up an item into the bus,but they will stop for a Caucasian even if their hand is not raised. Shame.
Not a very reliable bus service. Main bus route from Ashington into Newcastle X21/X22 are always cancelled due to either no drivers or no working buses company seem to have no staff due to working conditions. The Ashington branch couldn't run a drunking night out at a brewery. They don't communicate with the any other depot to let them know there are no buses running. I have been stranded on many occasions trying to get to and from work. Wish there was another bus company running the show but there isn't.
Just started working here, staff are brilliant everyone helps each other. They give new drivers lots of support too
My daughter was left stranded with her 3 year old as her card wouldn't work and she had no cash on her. The bus driver showed no sympathy and told her she had to get off. The drivers are so miserable they obviously have no training in people skills yet work with the public, come on arriva get them sorted! I look forward to the day of driverless buses.
Rubbish service , don’t tell you when a bus service is not running. Charge overly expensive fares. No customer service
Good buses. They also have scenic bus routes like the X15&X18 and other local connections
Only time I ever see a bus is being hauled by a tow and lift truck. Think the mechanic wants to stop using his mechano as a quick fix and leave it at home with his lego
