The cafe / restaurant is fine and quite popular, though this is the sort of mostly young person's venue where Bristol's huge and growing vegetarian and vegan population might reasonably have expected to be significantly better catered for. As for the galleries, whenever my wife (who is an artist working in a wide range of media and styles) and I have ventured into them, they have usually been very sparsely populated with pretentious rubbish whose production required no talent and whose selection by the curator involved a lot of chutzpah in wasting such excellent display spaces. This type of alleged art probably appeals to a TINY proportion of Bristolians and our visitors. There are many wonderfully talented, creative people here and it's time we saw more of their work in the galleries of The Arnolfini.

I think the new "Front Room" is fantastic. A very stylish and spacious area to get on with work and have a coffee, with lots of tables and seating. Has a very cool and chilled out atmosphere.

An interesting space for art. The is not always an exhibition to see, staff are a little indifferent. Free to use study space is a good addition

This is a great venue for drinks and snacks and of course for art. It's a nice place to take small kids or visitors to Bristol of all ages. For me the best part is the bookshop. There is always a great selection of different books, magazines, games, jewellery and cards.
