Very friendly staff with tidy environment. Glad to have a library near my living place. Meanwhile, two hours free parking here. Great!
Staff is super nice but people using this library are inconsiderate. So loud! On their phones, web meetings, FaceTime. Pupils coming in with tutors throwing coins on tables… if you want to study in a quiet area, then I would NOT recommend coming here. Otherwise it’s an okay place. Still prefer Nottingham central library.
Inside the library, you can find a few chairs to sit down and enjoy the silence while reading a book or two. There is a manga shelf on the ground floor. Quite a few computers available for your use, if you need some quick word document processing and/or if you need to print some documents.
Large modern library offering a large selection of books, audio books, maps and computers. Very spacious and well laid out with large free car park 2 hours nearby. Close to the centre of Arnold and shops. Reservations and collection service available.
The main things I don’t like are: 1 it’s cold and the air conditioning is always on! This puts me off going as I hate being cold when indoors!!! 2 there are always people loitering at the entrance, it’s intimidating walking through the smell of cannabis to enter! 3 it’s not as nice or as big as Beeston Library 4 The coffee area should be proper little cafe so you don’t have to leave the library and disrupt your visit
