Absolutely disgusted with the service from Arnold Clark! I purchased a car from this branch and was told a certain date it would be delivered to me which then didn’t happen, I had to chase them to find out when it would be delivered, they then said another date which again wasn’t delivered and a third date was then confirmed I was a month without the car in total because of them delaying things and me chasing them up, I then get the car and within a month the clutch has gone!!! It seemed dodgy when I first got it but assumed it was just me getting used to the car! Thank goodness I had warranty but had emailed to ask if I could have the car looked at and 10 days later I still hadn’t heard anything until I chased it again! I can honestly say the whole experience has been a huge stress and wished I’d gone somewhere else.
I purchased a car from Arnold Clark five months ago, and within ten days, I reported several issues with the vehicle. They directed me to a nearby Volvo dealership for a service check, where the issues were confirmed. When I informed Arnold Clark and expressed my desire to return the faulty car, they dismissed my concerns, claiming that Volvo had found no issues. However, upon revisiting the Volvo dealership, I was informed that Arnold Clark had not contacted them regarding my car.nnI followed up with an email, but the response from their general manager was unprofessional and disrespectful, treating me as though I were inferior.nnFrustrated, I sought advice from Trading Standards and then took my case to the Finance Ombudsman Service. After enduring a lengthy and distressing process, I managed to return the car and retrieve my deposit, but I am still waiting for a refund of my finance payments.nnDue to this extremely poor experience, I will never do business with Arnold Clark again. Their customer service after the purchase was abysmal.
Jamie was so friendly and helpful. He understood our needs and helped explain in great detail all the differences between each type of car in the cx5 range. As a result we bought a top of the range car. Jamie has been in contact after we picked up the car to check everything was ok. Loved that nice touch
