I made a recent enquiry about a vehicle for a sale, it was a very unpleasant experience. Apart from the receptionist who was lovely I was treated in a sneering off hand manner with no serious attempt or interest in looking at a deal. It wasn’t the information given I objected to, it was the way it was delivered. I think I was wasting his time. Perhaps if my husband had been with me the attitude would have been different. Came out of there feeling humiliated and angry. Never again.
Purchased a car for my daughter this weekend, and had a easy going experience with their salesman Iain McCallum. Easiest and most helpful deal ever. Would highly recommend Iain to everyone ! He is such a helpful, down to earth sales person with a happy to help attitude. If only every deal was like this one. Will definitely be a returning customer to Iain.
Dealt with a guy called Ian, he was great throughout the whole process and would recommend anyone to get a car with Arnold Clark, Helensburgh. He definitely put the customer first and went out his way to ensure we where satisfied with everything.
Bought a vw polo from Ian at helensburgh Arnold Clark. Drove home and the car had a severe engine misfire the breaks were making a racket which I was advised will go away after driving a little while. The heating also didnt work and the belts are speaking. They got my car book in for 3 weeks later. Which I then told them I need the car and it needs looked at sooner they then got it booked in a week sooner. I dropped my car in on the Saturday at Arnold Clark Edinburgh to get diagnosed then take home as I had my blackbox fitting on monday and get the car repaired later in the week. Arnold Clark said I they will keep the car as it is dangerous to drive and can cause serious damage to the engine. This caused the blackbox company to cancel on me as they said they cannot go to the garage as it is too far away. I ended up paying rebooking for this which I shouldn't have got in the first place as the car should've been working as they checked it before I bought it. Arnold Clark fixed the problems with the car however the belts are still squeaking and the have refused to reimburse me for the blackbox fee I had to pay which was caused by them selling me a dodgy car. Overall Ian tried his best to help, but his manager Bobby refused to reimburse me. EDIT: Ian got back to me today letting me know that the payment has been sent out. Thanks to Ian I have been reimbursed. Keep up the great service Ian
Great services in the mechanical side and receptionist was fantastic but one guy in the sales staff spent the whole time using very crude language and swearing with no regard to my partner and I who were sitting waiting on our vehicle. This has let the garage down badly.

Great service from Gavin Clarke . Guided me through the sale expertly, sent a great video and smooth transition to Wolverhampton when the car was sent down.
I had a problem with the display on my Golf and I went in there today and the salesman that I spoke to came out and fixed it straight away he also ran thorough the full menu system with me in case it happened again, great service from Arnold Clark Helensburgh
