On the whole this is one of the most enjoyable yards I have been on. Ok admittedly on the outside it looks like a junk yard, but you can't fault the owners good manners. They really are very friendly and have a zero tolerance of stealing. Their is CCTV on yard, tea room and a toilet facility. You do get you own little space for your hay and straw. You have the option to use their tack room which is situated inside the tea room. Everything is locked and kept locked up and you do have your own key to access the tea room. The stables are spacious but drafty so your horses will need a rug in the winter if stabled. You have your own large field which to turn out your horses; which is secured behind a hedge on two sides and partitioned of into individual fields using electric fencing. On this yard you are literally left to your own devices, you can do what you want, when you want and how you want with out being bothered or badgered. Really peaceful. They also have a reasonable size arena with rubber and black sand surface this stuff stains clothing and horses with socks. The only thing that I will say about this yard is their contract. Which states, that failure to pay rent on time or within a certain time period; they will seize your belongings and horses. Just to let people know that they CAN NOT do this BY LAW and they can and will get into serious trouble if they uphold this section of their contract they have to and must always goes through a small claims court. Also you can have them for horse theft; which holds a prison sentence of 6 - 12 months and a criminal record. The LAW will supersede this section of their contract. However on the whole don't let this put you off going to this yard, its not to be sniffed at: they are a real contender. I would quite happily go back.
