These guys have been absolutely amazing. They explained every detail thoroughly and helped me so much when our removals company messed us around. They sorted out paperwork last minute and went above and beyond. Ben really helped us out with a problem and called us back to reassure us all was well. Totally awesome service highly recommend.
Very simple and straightforward to access the facility. 90% of the time you can get parked in one of the three loading bays. Toilets on the ground floor. Can't really comment on their prices as the unit I use is paid for by my employer.
Due to a last minute change in Xmas plans we needed to create space in the house by quickly moving a number of caravan items we had stored for the winter in the spare room. The staff at Armadillo were really helpful in arranging space for us, at a very competitive price, including a reduction in the insurance premium, and we were able to resolve our problem within a couple of hours. Every staff member I spoke to was friendly and acted quickly and effectively to help me so I have nothing but praise for the service we received.
The communication is superb. Made a phone call, was given all info I needed. Online booking system is fantastic and straightforward. The reception when we visited the Gateshead site was great and the actual service for storage is secure, clean and easy. I have a 50sqft space in between moves.

To be honest best place in the area with friendly staff. It was so easy, gave them a call and they actually helped! even offered me a better deal than the internet gave me. They even called day before I move, to see if all was ok with my move. I couldn’t praise them more. Thankyou
Great experience all round. Used this storage to break the chain in a house sale / purchase using a month in AirBNB. The team on-site is very efficient, helpful and provide all the options. No pushy sales pitch at all. Quite willing to makes changes. Simply no issues with them during multiple visits. The location itself is bright, clean and well organised. Plenty of trolleys to move goods around in. Thank you.
I've been to and used quite a few storage centres within the north east and this one is by far one of the best. The access for loading and unloading is great. All the units are clean and dry. There are plenty of trolleys to easily move goods around and what's even better is there are not one but two huge lifts to use. You may not think this makes a difference but trust me it does when everyone is trying to get between floors with their stuff. It's a real time saver. Staff are all very friendly and their expertise for calculating the correct size of unit required can't be faulted. Overall a fantastic service and facility every time. Would recommend to anyone.
Great place to store your house if needed. Staff very helpful & friendly. Made sure the storage unit we secured was big enough. Rented the unit for 12 months so we got a discount of 10% also bought the insurance from 1st storage. Easy access to the unit, huge lifts and loading trolleys available to use, loading bay is sheltered and there is plenty of space. Would recommended this to anyone who needs a storage solution! Also if we don't use the full 12 moths we have paid they do refund so happy days!
