Nice location for a gentle , short, stroll and finished up at the kiosk, with pretty outdoor seating area. Only had drinks, as had brought own picnic. Couldn't finish the coffee - really not that nice at all, which was a shame.
Pay for parking 2hrs £1.50 or all day £2.50 there is a hut next to the car park that does drinks and food and the walk is nice and relaxing benches on the way round to relax on and nice views for taking pictures
Did the Cuckmere Pilgrimage which is a well thought out walk of about 14 miles, taking in 7 pretty village churches. Arlington Reservoir is part of the walk, very pretty.
Beautiful well maintained 1..3/4 ml circular walk Lovely scenery..and an added bonus at the end of your walk you can stop at the Lovely cafe staffed by friendly Lovely people...with great freshly cooked snacks and drinks in a lovely garden setting ...Perfect spot
Lovely place to go for a walk or run i found it very relaxing after a long car journey. They even have a coffee shop on site which i didn't use this time around. I was pleased to see the had pn site toilets as well including disabled. There are picnic tables so family's can enjoy the view. Great place to take your dog for a walk.
A very peaceful walking area where you can observe a variety of birds.
Lovely place for a wander round and take a few photos of the wildlife. Stopped for a cuppa and bite to eat prices are reasonable. Restrooms: Clean and tidy.
Well maintained 2 miles 3.2 km walk. Walking with a gentle pace: Clockwise walking to the left hand side up a small hill for 10 minutes and then downhill and onto the flat dam wall followed by continuous flat. If the path is muddy after the dam wall then you can instead use the access smooth road. Anticlockwise walking on the right hand side flat on right hand side and then to the very wide dam wall which is flat. Then up a small hill, 5 to 7 minutes and then gradually downhill. The walk is three sections, clockwise, the forest with gentle hill, then the dam wall and then the path next to the farm. Car park is very cheap and cafe is okay and countryside cafe prices. The paths are wide enough and flat enough for a wheelchair the forest is slightly uneven however the wooden gates to the dam wall might be locked. Ask at the warden building 50m anticlockwise on the path from the car park or the cafe for more information. Toilets are free and very clean.
We regularly walk around the reservoir on a Sunday morning with our dog. It's a wonderful place especially if you get there early and what's more we always grab a coffee and cake from the hut afterwards. Can highly recommend the chocolate orange cake.
A fairly good walk around the reservoir. Some wooded areas. Dogs are allowed must be kept on their leads at all times. There are no poo bins provided so be prepared to carry it with you. A nice café and a bench area to sit in located in the car park which is pay and display.
