The gardens are fabulous and very peaceful. Lots to see and stroll around. A good idea would be a picnic if you can take one that is. Dog friendly and no stairs anywhere that I could see A well stocked cafe which has an outside area too.
Our first time visiting this beautiful building. We didn't go inside but the building is stunning. We visited the Garden Festival. We will definitely return. The event was perfect for us.Public restrooms: YesPicnic tables: Yes
A lovely garden, we went in early June and just walked around the gardens. We bumped into his lordship, lovely chap was doing a spot of gardening in the arboretum and had picked some scented flowers for his wife. He's clearly got a passion for the place. We had a light lunch there too, which was very nice home made sausage roll with a salad and relish, and a ham sandwich. Would have scored it higher but a lot of the plants didn't have labels which always helps, the vinery/greenhouse was a little threadbare and some of the beds needed weeding and tending too.
We went for the Harry Potter forbidden forest and it was really good. There was lots to see and interact with. At the end there's a village where you can buy food or merchandise. We had a great time.
Beautiful place. Stunning gardens. Very reasonably priced, the food from the cafe was superb and good value for money. We will definitely be going back to visit the hall, as it was closed when we visited due to a private function.
Extensive, beautiful gardens with a nice tea room with toilets and shop. Didn't visit the hall today or playground . Adjoining garden centre all in all a great day out.
What a great place this is! Absolutely worth visiting. We knew it was where Peaky Blinders was filmed so we were pleased to see inside the Hall. The gardens are stunningly beautiful. There is an art trail on right now including one from artists such as Tracey Emin and Anthony Gormley, all around the gardens and woodland. We enjoyed the food from the cafe and as a mad plane spotter the fact that planes taking off from Manchester Airport go over regularly was a bonus . Hall is not open all the time so best to check their website for dates.
Lovely day at Arley Hall today, fabulous gardens and beautifully tended. Excellent lunch from the Gardeners Cafe, all freshly made to order. Highly recommended
The forbidden forest walk was fantastic. Food and drink was very over priced, but also expected. Enjoyed toasting my own marshmallows. I couldn't find the cheaper priced tickets the Fever app said the prices started from, so paid more than £30 each. Enjoyable but I would recommend only £20 each the prices of the tickets as well as food and drink is why I deducted a star. I get it's because of the cost of the license but it's just not worth such a high price.
Lovely grounds and a nice day out but a bit much if you have a toddler or child that's too big for a pram and too heavy to carry for long periods of time as there was limited access from totally roarsome to the hall due to a private wedding
