I find this car park very useful. I was going with friends to Cheltenham to meet others. We all have bus passes so only have to pay £1 each when travelling together in one car. Really good value instead of looking for some where to park in Cheltenham which would cost much more to park one car. We have the freedom to park as long as we like for £1 each.
Does what you would expect from a park and ride. Company just need to get the whole ticket, QR code, register, buy ticket bit all joined up.....get ticket from machine, get on bus paying fare, scan QR code but only if scanner works it didn't and perhaps doesn't in bright sunlight. And if you've already registered and bought a ticket why then do you have to register again? System set up by someone who has never used it!
Disappointed that adequate pedestrian crossing facilities not provided for anyone approaching from the ring road. An island, like the previous P&R had, is required. It was risky trying to cross on both occasions this morning.
A great service, only one complaint once you have registered your vehicle before entering the vehicle you then have to scan again once on the bus, this instance the scanner wasn't working and two elderly passengers trying to enter their registered when the driver took off causing the bus to jerk and both of the elderly passengers nearly fell! Personally, I think once you have registered your vehicle , you shouldn't have to do it again.
It's a Park and Ride, it does exactly what it says on the tin, the buses were clean, and punctual, the driver was friendly, and the car park clean and tidy, and well sign posted, making it easy to find, what more can you ask for.
