Great day out! The animals are well looked after and you can get really up close and personal with them, making it intimate. There are also lovely walks within the Fairytale Forest and the Jurassic Ark too with lots of parks and places to play for the kids. Great places to picnic too. Staff were great!! We love it here!
We had a great time at The Ark Farm over Easter. It was ticketed so wasn't too crowded. The dinosaur egg trail was so well thought out and the fossil dig was brilliant. There's wide range of farm yard and more exotic animals - all looked well cared for. The cafe is also good value with a wide range of food and drink. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
A fantastic day out at the farm with family. We usually visit the Ark Open Farm at least once or twice a year when staying at the caravan. Never disappoints and always extremely happy children afterwards! The star attraction this year wasn't an animal though, it was Patrick! My kids would leave my side and go find Patrick on the farm to hear his fantastic facts about all of the animals and reptiles. He should definitely get employee of the month in our eyes!
Been here a couple of times with family and everyone loves it especially our 3 year old grandson. Our most recent visit was to the Christmas trail experience which was a great event and well attended. I would recommend Ark Farm for a family outting as there are plenty of animals to see and a nice wee cafe on siteplus two old friendly dogs that potter about the yard that love to be petted lol!
Great place for all the family. Halfway between Bangor and Newtownards, parking can be a bit awkward on a weekend or holiday but worth the effort. Everything from barrel quad bike rides and animals you can feed/pet to a Jurassic park dinosaur walk. Easy to spend a lot of time here or just pop in for an hour. We have a family pass and it's well worth it for the summer months. Well worth a visit.
Lovely farm on alot of hills not even ground to walk, so can be a holding on to someone type of moment when walking down to amenities. Top of the Ark boat was closed off when we went, and for barrel ride you have to pay.the tractor ride free, The petting area we only got to see the rabbit and guinea pig as there where so many people in there the wait to see each animal 2 was a while to wait which my little boy the wait was to much for him, other animals couldn't come out as they had just been fed..we left the petting area after that there is a wait in line to see petting area unfortunately missed the tractor ride while in petting area. But all in all, its a good day out. Little boy enjoyed the zipline and big slide.
The Ark farm hosted my daughters 3rd Birthday this weekend. We decided to book here as it’s her favourite place to go and we have just taken out a family membership for a second year in a row as she simply can’t get enough of the place. It’s also great value for money if you go only a few times in a year. We arrived to set up for the party early and the staff were already there and waiting to help us unpack and set up everything. Our private party room was immaculate. Nothing was a bother to the staff and we were even given our own party coordinator for the day to make sure everything ran smoothly and our party was escorted around the venue to the various activity’s put on for the kids to enjoy. The fun never stopped and all ages were well catered for and we managed to do everything and there was a lot to do. The catering was brilliant as food orders were taken on arrival of the guests at the venue and all children got a choice off the kids menu. The adult buffet style food went down a treat with a mixture of finger food and freshly prepared sandwiches. After the party was over the staff were so tentative to make sure to help us carry bags and tidy up and for what was put on and the value for money I would never have the hassle of hosting a birthday party at home again as it was so convenient having it here and everything is done for you. A no brainier really. Thank you again for looking after us, we’ll be back ! ‍
Great place to take kids, my granddaughter who is almost two loves animals had the best time as did her mum and I Seeing her interact with the animals feeding and petting them was amazing. The ark farm have created something special and how they keep adding to the farm with the eagle Owls they are absolutely beautiful I’d love to see them again. The fairytale references are great including the 3 little pigs and enchanted forest. A must see for anyone with kids, it is important our children learn about conservation and interact from an early age so many of these species are here to show there grandchildren. I also have to add the Ark won’t break the bank unlike other places which allows you to go regularly.
A really fun experience, especially for my young niece, although I have to admit feeding Rusty the young Alpaca was a pleasure!
We had a fantastic time at the Ark farm today. It's handy to get to, easy to park at and the family enjoyed all the different activities on offer from the animals, prehistoric and living to the tractor barn, rides and kangaroo bouncy. The play areas and zip line were a big hit too. The staff were friendly and helpful too.
