Booked on behalf of somebody else. Booking system efficient - needed to speak to a real person with a couple of queries which were dealt with very efficiently and by friendly, helpful staff. Taxi arrived on time with phone call to say they had arrived/waiting outside - and driven to the precise location/right up to the main hospital door despite there being a lot of congestion outside. Thank you Argyle taxis: I appreciate being able to rely on you.
Driver was friendly. Seemed focused on driving and overall seems like the type of friend you see occasionally when walking to the shops who you have a chat with that accidentally goes on for hours XD. Anyway, friendly driver, good car condition. 10/10 will use again cause it's one of the cheapest options
Driver was very good. Very chatty, cat also ran out in front of car and he was calm with his emergency stop. Name was Alex nice gent. Clean car, personable driver, on time and safe.
Taxi arrived promptly, I was notified of its arrival. Driver was friendly and polite, but professional. Helped me with my bags and made sure I was safe with the icy pavement. Excellent service
Several months ago, my 21 year old daughter and her same age friend were picked up by a taxi driver from Argyle Satellite. They had been on a night out and when then were dropped off at my daughter's friend's house, the taxi drive realized they were drunk and attempted to force his way into her house so they could have "a good time". The only thing which saved them was my daughter's friend's dog! Another similar incident has recently occurred which is in the process of police investigation. I strongly recommend that girls do not use this taxi firm which seems to employ taxi drivers who take advantage of their vulnerable female passengers.
Booked a taxi two days ago only to have the driver call us 20 minutes before the pick-up time. We had great experiences with them before, and this is why we wanted to use them again, but our most previous will be the last.
Much like the last review, we described our road and location to our driver. He claimed that he had parked there but clearly he had not. When trying to understand where he was he just hung up on us and did not pick back up. Insanely rude and unprofessional, you wouldn't even expect that behaviour from a one-man business, let alone a big one like Argyle. They should screen their staff better, because we were left stranded with a disabled person because their drivers don't know which roads are which.
I only use Argyle Taxi's because the service and Taxi Drivers are excellent and today was no exception two minute wait from booking on the App which is outstanding by the way. My taxi driver was excellent as usual. I would thoroughly recommend Argyle Taxi's to anyone who hasn't used them.
Transport by car to Manchester Airport Hilton Hotel prior to our flights next day to Australia Car arrived on time, driver was very polite and ‘chatty’. Very pleased with the service.
The taxi ride itself was great but the automated booking system would not get the address right so spoke with operator to confirm both pick up and drop off addresses only to be driven by taxi driver to the incorrect destination. Same road name, different area of which I clarified on the phone to the operator. Always seems to happen with this company compared to others on the wirral.
