I was assured in the most definite terms 'No question, it'll be here first thing' by a shop assistant that my item, a child's life-jacket, would arrive the following day by 9am, so I ordered it. It even says 9am on the order.nnSo I went to the store this morning to collect it at 9.10am. 'I'm sorry, it's not here. Our store in Barrow only sent out one van today, not two, and it's in Whitehaven, then it's got to go to Workington. But it should be here this afternoon.' So, despite their assurances, my kid didn't have his lifejacket for a day out canyoning. Thanks, Argos!
Shop at Amazon instead. Major cock up with my order, can't get to speak with anyone from Argos, except some foreigner in India who obviously doesn't speak English the chat box is useless. And track your order doesn't work . All together the worst experience of shopping online. Again shop at Amazon and save yourself the stress
I bought some earbuds here, unfortunately, they were defective. I brought them back a couple days later and the staff Jay were incredibly helpful, after I explained the fault with them, I was offered a replacement or refund. No hassle, great service.

Bought a Microwave for a friend-£80.00-at Argos in Sainsburys-when collecting a item for myself the next day-found on passing at end of Sainsburys isle the very same Microwave for £70.00 -Argos and Sainsburys are the same company under the same umbrella-after calling customer service and pointing this out-l was given the number to call the Argos store-where upon l was offered a £10.00 refund if I went over -Result-Be careful before you buy check they don’t have the same item cheaper on Sainsburys shelves
