It is the first time I have used this Argos, the staff were friendly and polite, the shop was clean and tidy, I didn't have to wait a long time at all to receive my item.nIt's located in a relatively small retail park with quote a large carpark, lots of disabled parking.
Store isclean snd tidy. Staff are busy and looks a bit tired but still friendly and try to put on a smile.
Ordered a chair through the app said it was ready to collect today so drove from Mansfield as no other stores had them in stock other then Ilkeston took us over an hour in traffic, triple checked everything was okay before we left the house kept saying ready to collect, checked halfway to the store and it said collect tomorrow..so phoned the helpline to which they said they don’t have the chair in stock but on the app it says ready to collect today…waste of time and journey and you have to wait 5 days for a refund joke ..maybe they should look at updating there app so it’s actually accurate instead of giving false information.
I am loving this Argos store, I know that it has taken business from the high street, but since being here it is easier to access plenty of parking, the store is much bigger and has a better range of products in stock. The staff are mostly great only had a couple who have proven to be either a complete idiot or rude for no apparent reason the place is usually clean, tidy, and well laid out. And most importantly service is a 1000% better than it used to be.
If you reserve something online and collect here, no problem, but try and buy something, they are clueless.nI had a gift voucher so took it into store to buy something I had my eye on, you can’t buy that using a gift voucher I was told. What? How do you work that out I enquired, my manager told me she replied, well why don’t you try, oh no, the manager said you can’t use a gift voucher to buy that, it won’t work she said defiantly. Well you haven’t even tried I told her as I turned and left as I realised I was facing wilful ignorance.nI went home onto the Argos website and made my purchase using the very gift voucher they were adamant wouldn’t go through.nI won’t waste my time with them again
