Absolutely shocking slow service when products were ready to collect. Staff talking across the store to each other and through headsets and stood around, or hiding rather than handing out the items. Dysfunctional store with untrained staff in customer service, manager also seemed to have little authority over staff as they weren't even listening to her. Will be avoiding.
Went in to buy a cheap phone as I lost mine, was going to get a cheap one to see me through to new year, but a girl, charlie, gave me a heads up and gave me some great advice, ended up buying a Google pixel 7 instead, and she was honest when I gave her too much cash. Hope she gets a pay rise!!
As i never been in argos store and never ordered in store so i had no experience how it would work but thanks to ASHLEIGH and ERIN they were really kind friendly and helpfull it was so easy to get what i wanted tha ks to them and will definitely come back again

I came here on Tuesday 24th of May to buy myself a new watch Karen the lady. Who served her was extremely helpful professional friendly and Courteous a big ten out of ten from me. The Manager here should be very proud of themselves. And more importantly their staff

Wish I could give it 0 stars. Extremely rude and incompetent staff, worst customer service I’ve ever received from both JOHN apparently manager and NAT. I was a extremely loyal customer coming here my whole life however now I definitely will never be stepping food in here again. Politely asked John to write down the number for complaints for me to which he replied “don’t tell me what to do”. How an earth did he get the job with this attitude? He is ruining the store
Rude, incompetent staff who would rather laugh and converse mindlessly in the back than bring orders forward. 4 of us waited for half an hour and after asking for an update surprise surprise orders began to get through. Maybe leave the Christmas party for a weekend? Very unimpressed.
My parents phoned argos to check if an item was in stock,All they got was a recorded message saying our staff are not available to check to see if any items are in stock you have have to check on the Internet .Not every elderly person knows how to use the Internet. It's not argos in Stockport fault its the company's,What is the point of having a phone number if you can't check anything For a company this big they should have a phone number where you can check stock availability befor you travel to the store
