Very inviting exterior and welcoming staff showed us to our table. The interior is a cross between the Amazon forest and a wedding reception and is good for the atmosphere that it creates. Décor overall all is interesting and a little whacky and it works really well. The menu has plenty of choices meat and meat-free wise. Portions are generous, prices on par with other restaurants and a decent choice of drinks. The pork tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly and was a welcome change to the usual dishes that are usually on offer. Everyone inn our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals, the burgers were nice and lean, chips in sensible, non-greasy portions. It was my nephew’s birthday so we took along a small cake, were able to light candles but were unable to eat it due to their policy, perhaps a cutting charge could be considered? Though having said that, service was swift and friendly. Most were to full for desserts but there is always a couple that found some space! It does get very busy so would recommend booking, earlier rather than later. All in all, a nice venue for a family get together, and would definitely go there again.
Really stylish, modern place right next to Ruislip woods, Ruislip Lido. Great location, feel likes you're deep in the woods. The restaurant bar looks really beautiful, made out of wood. Nicely decorated inside. Really friendly staff, full of energy. Food and cocktail are really nice. We ordered nachos to share Great size, bbg sticky wings and cauliflower bites. All were really nice, but did not how a wow factor. Was good, but think the ambience and atmosphere are more appealing. Had a raspberry cocktail, which looked really nice and tasted quite nice. The Apple juice and Elderflower Mocktail was definitely the standout drink! The disappointment was the Old fashioned coctail. Looked really impressive, but lacked flavour depth for an Old fashioned. Tasted more like a medicine. Also for a local place, it is pretty expensive. Saying that, overall a great place and definitely will be going back.
Food was floorless, staff they was polite and courteous, slightly large service fee for a small amount of contact but they was lovely. Also the place was kitted out beautifully for Christmas... Was like a little winter wonderland. Ample parking, disabled friendly, clean toilets tasty cocktails. Would 100% recommend ...Food: 5/5
Such a nice place to be able to go out and enjoy a meal. Staff very friendly and helpful, food never disappoints and the cocktails are amazing. Well worth a visit
Awesome! Friendly server with great recommendations, food is absolutely delicious, various drinks options aswell. Outdoor indoor both places is clean and beautiful ambience.
Really great spot. Efficient service, delicious fresh food. And the decor - wow! It simply is the most beautiful indoor garden. A real winter Wonderland Oh and it's lovely and warm too. All staff so friendly - even the barman!
Best salmon I've had! We've been coming here at least once a month since moving into the area and they never disappoint! The food is great and the service is impeccable! Today's host was Gabby and she was absolutely lovely to us - thank you Arens! See you on my 30th
I have been a few times at Arens because of the perfect food that they have , amazing atmosphere . I will go back over and over again. Highly recommended Food: 5/5
Gorgeous decorations, food was pretty decent. And staff were lovely. The only issue I have is the fact a 12.5% discretionary tip is added to the bill. I asked our server where does that go and they had no idea. To think how hard the staff work in there and how expensive the food is in itself, servers should at least be able to take their tips home. So I asked them to take it off and gave them cash instead. As I said staff were lovely, and food was decent enough, but in 2022 that sort of thing should not be an issue, especially it being 12.5% of the bill on top and staff don’t know where it goes… and then having everything as a cashless payment makes it nearly impossible for the team and somewhat sneaky at the same time. So bring cash people if you want to tip.
