We are an Independent Specialist College based in Wood Green, catering for a variety of special needs and requirements

Story

Area 51 is an Independent Specialist Provider for young people who have severe, complex or profound learning difficulties.
We deliver full-time courses in preparation for life and work, enabling our young people to make a successful transition from childhood to adulthood.

And, we don’t just stop at education! Go on our website and check out our pages for Future Ray - an adult access programme offering activities from one day up to five days per week; and Clean It, our first social enterprise company run by six of our ‘graduates’ from the Pathways to Work programme. Mission

Area 51 believes that all young people have a right to education and training that will support them to achieve their full potential.
Our aim is to provide an engaging and challenging learning environment, supporting our learners to take the next steps in their personal life journey as they move from being teenagers to young adults.
Our learners maintain and develop their skills and abilities to ensure that they get the very best from life ... either at home, work or play!
