We always enjoy staying here because the hosts are excellent and the room is clean and comfortable.   The location is ideal for shopping or eating out as it is so central, and there are plenty of walks in the area too.    The bread at breakfast was particularly good and I meant to ask if it was made in-house, but it certainly seemed so.

Very conveniently situated near town centre. Well appointed room with a pleasant outlook - not a sea view, but that was fine. Beautiful guest lounge too. The establishment also runs a very popular tearoom. Lots of suggestions given for places to eat and drink etc. My wife hasn't told me how much it's costing yet - but I suspect it to be a bit more than others in the area.

Only used the tea room for a hot chocolate, only had short time in Stonehaven, but looks a nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Locals use it for morning coffee etc always a good sign. You may need to book during holiday season for the tea room. They squeezed us in because we only needed a quick drink.Service: 5/5

Love this cafe. Stormed it with my mum yesterday, fresh cream, crumbs and jam everywhere. Tea was awesome. Fab staff.

Lovely stay in beautiful home.  Made very welcome, hosts were very informative and   provided map with recommendations on where to eat.  Lovely, freshly cooked breakfast.  We'll definitely return and would highly recommend this gem in the heart of Stonehaven.

We had a lovely weekend stay. A clean spacious room.  Hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home.  Due to current restrictions breakfast is brought to your room.  The breakfast was very good and more than enough to set you up for the day.  We could not recommend this gem of a B&B enough

Was visiting the village and discovered this, a little gem off the main town centre about 5 to 10 mins walking depending on speed. The prices were good, portions a good size for a light lunch and cakes were amazing.  Would also like to note the staff were prompt and really nice. 5/5 would definitely go again.

Very nice B&B with most gracious and friendly hosts.  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on May 17th. A very lovely little town and Ardruthie House is centrally located to town.Rooms: 4/5
