I've been visiting the civic centre for many different events over the past 45 years now and find that it's a great place to host weddings, parties of virtually any kind, boxing matches and even stage plays whether it's for adults or children. The civic centre has plenty of space with a couple of rooms one of which will easily hold at least 200 people. The other room is a bit smaller but comfortable. They even give suitable people their covid/flu jabs when available.
Went to get my booster and flu jab. Well set up, taken and registered right away. Passed along and received my booster. Nurse was very helpful and answered a few questions I had. Everything explained and painless...
I've used the civic centre for PNS meetings, my presentation, a couple of christmas parties and the latest being my covid-19 vaccination. It's a spacious building, has a main hall and separate rooms upstairs. The staff are extremely helpful too. I also know of wedding receptions being held here too
I play walking football here every Friday. It is very convenient as it has its own parking area and is also on the main bus route.
This centre was used by N.H.S Scotland as a venue for COVID booster and yearly flu vaccinations. I attended. N.H.S.Scotland have this function down to a fine art. Absolutely no problems whatsoever. Full marks to N.H.S Scotland.
