Coming here all my life, went in December as told by my Guidance teacher at school for a referral for my Mental health and to get tests done, waited near an hour after the time i was supposed to be seen at, 20 minutes of sitting in the room being criticised and her telling me its “hormones” “low mood” and “everyone is a little autistic” “everyones on the spectrum” as an array of other things and a “i will phone your guidance teacher about how the appointment went” and left with no help except feeling even worse and angry at myself for opening up again, understand their short staffed but wouldn't hurt them to take it more seriously
Had a great experience being seen by Dr Campbell. He was friendly, took me seriously, asked relevant questions, and talked me through everything he was prescribing and the reason why. I was really nervous before the appointment but he was fantastic. Can't recommend the doctors here enough.
Quick and easily accessed to a very clean reception. Bright and cheerful staff who acknowledge who you are and provide an excellent service.
People are trying their best I suppose. This year my mother was bedded for a week she couldn't get up and could hardly breathe. Her oxygen levels were below 80. 3 times we were told by G docs your mother needs to be in hospital but Dr Grays will not accept her! Eventually I had to ignore Dr Grays and take her straight to A&E as my mother on her last. When I eventually battled and begged for them to see her they put her straight on oxygen and after 2 weeks in hospital she was finally feeling better. This week however my mother has been slurring her words and falling over. I contacted Ardach and the receptionist was very nice to us unfortunately no doctors would speak to her! Turned out the medication they had given her was far too strong. My mother is taking a cocktail of medication and no one seems to know what the hell she is taking. At one point she was taking 12 tablets a day and now she has a damaged liver! It's very worrying for me as my mother lives alone. I have little faith left in this service.
Great service from Reception, too attached Pharmacy, practice nurses who listen and the Doctor's who are patient, happy to listen to the patient hence my 5 stars Thank YOU all for giving a great service
