We stayed in Archerfield, having food at The Clubhouse, what a welcome! Elena and all the staff were friendly, helpful and nothing too much trouble for them. Our dog was welcomed too. Fabulous staff, gorgeous food and such a relaxing atmosphere. Huge thanks to our complimentary driver Doug, so friendly and informative. Along with him, and the welcome we received, will DEFINITELY be back X

This place is unbelievable! I came here for a special birthday and boy was it special. Staff went above & beyond. Your accommodation is immaculate and has a very private feel, couldn't fault one thing about the trip. Lovely food, grounds and the spa is fantastic! Best massage I have ever had. Lovely concierge to drive you around the estate if you need to go anywhere fancy cars aswell I will 100% return in the future.
Fantastic Golfing Facilities with two world class golf courses, practice facilities and lovely club house. The Food and beverage on offer are top notch and the staff from arrival to departure all over the course are really nice and welcoming..
Beautiful suites! Really spacious and clean. Complementary snacks and drinks were a nice surprise. Beds weren't very comfortable so didn't sleep very well. They had a shuttle service which picked us up from the hotel to the restaurant and then back to the room again after dinner. I was very impressed by that. They had netflix and amazon prime on the TV so we got cozy and watched a movie.
Dined with two friends. Phoned to book and no one asked about dietary requirements or allergies when in my opinion the initial contact when phoning to book should be the company. We had to ask for saucers and empty cups to be cleared not the first time and since the tables do not have very much room staff still tried to squeeze our food and drinks onto the table until I asked for things to be cleared. They did however check back. One young boy not sure his name, sorry but he seemed to be the only one focused and enthusiastic while serving us and if it weren’t for you, the stars would be lower.
Absolutely quality from the minute you arrive,staff very welcoming and friendly,golf course and practice facilities first class,would definitely recommend a visit to Archerfield.
Quite disappointing overall, as we were expecting immaculate greens and fairways, particularly for $285 premium ‘discounted’ fee. Perhaps they could have forewarned that front nine greens and fairways just reseeded, under repair and certain greens not accessible. Perhaps say that hundreds of white flags in fairways and tee boxes often on mats. Perhaps mention that driving range shut down all morning for repairs. So many better courses for less than half the price. Review would be worse except my golfing companions were outstanding, kind and professional. The back nine was very nice too.
What a course! This is millionaire's golf at its finest. Hospitality is first class. Facilities are amazing. Highly recommend.
We visited Archerfield yesterday and played the Fidra course which had been subjected to torrential rain for two days. Given the fact that the Dunhill Cup was cancelled with flooding at St Andrews and Carnoustie we were sceptical about the playing conditions we’d be faced with. How wrong could we be? The course was in excellent condition with virtually no evidence of any rainfall. Fairways and greens were outstanding and the mature trees framed many of the holes perfectly. The excellent facilities and clubhouse also added to our enjoyment. A truly wonderful experience.
