Exploding Shower Glass - be wary! I purchased a shower enclosure -among lots of other stuff from this company in 2018. One evening in the summer 2022 after returning from holiday shower not used for two weeks, the shower glass screen exploded and collapsed in a heap waking the whole house in the middle of the night. Even after all this time this should not happen - ever! There is an obvious design fault! It was only luck that nobody was in the shower at the time. Rubberduck were sympathetic but refused to supply another shower enclosure even after I explained I would have to cover the plumber's costs for labour to replace the enclosure of several hundred pounds. We were lucky that one of us or the kids weren't hurt I suppose but very disappointed with Rubberduck's response in light of the potential consequences especially as I spent a lot of money - £9,000 on bathroom equipment with them, so very disappointed with this company. In response to your reply below. The reason we waited until now is because in your latest response to me you said you would appeal to the manufacturer again and revert back to me. I have been waiting since. Also the manufacturers are not exactly impartial in their determination for obvious reasons - so why should we believe what they say??
I have bought geo panels for my bathroom and my wet room. I was very impressed with the product. Unfortunately there were some damages on two of the panels on top of the delivery was short by a panel. I always expect top services from anyone I deal with. Customer services has to be at its highest. What was testament to the team at rubberduct even after going back to them a later with the expectations on a conclusive resolution. I was not disappointed. Hats off to the team. They were resilient and determined to resolve the problem I had to hand. I am very Impressed with their level of service. Second to none. It was reassuring from a customers prospective to be reassured that there are companies out there who take ownership and go the mileage should it be necessary. Thank you guys. I wish you all the success and I look forward to using your services again.
Ordered ShowerWall panels after being let down by another company Bathrooms of Distinction. They fulfilled our order and were really helpful giving advice over the phone Ashley - thank you for your assistance. Also arranged delivery suitable to ourselves. The only downside was having a 25% admin fee deducted from the cost of us personally returning some trims to a distributor. We would still recommend them and will use them again. This is just a minor negative point.
A great team on the telephone for support. My abacus shower tray took ages to be delivered. I spoke with various members of the team and all were very helpful in resolving the matter. I would be delighted to use Rubberduck again!
From initial contact and enquiry last Friday, to my order and the delivery was nothing short of first class. The best online retail experience I’ve had. The product itself is beyond my expectations and has been easy to apply and looks superb.
Terrible company to deal with. I ordered my tap 2 weeks ago, it still hasn't turned up, customer service were so unhelpful and quite frankly rude. Two weeks later I'm told it still hasn't been despatched. There's no way to track your item or know when it will arrive, then they refuse to refund me. Waste of time, avoid!
The bathroom install was very good. Unfortunately the customer service side of the business is extremely poor. My advice would be to communicate via email and text - even when emails and texts go unanswered and ignored. If you give them keys please get a receipt from them with a full description of what you’ve given them - they lost my wife’s full set of house keys, resulting in the front door lock, back door lock and all lockable windows handles needing to be replaced immediately - which we paid for out of pocket, and 2 specialist padlocks and a garage door lock to be replaced in the future for security reasons. They also left a skip outside my garage door, blocking access for over a month, unnecessarily. The manager also left his mobile phone on my kitchen table on the first day of install. I waited over 2 months for some repairs to be completed - it literally took threats of county court to have the work completed - it took 15 minutes. So if you are thinking of using them, do so at your own risk and document absolutely everything should you need it.
Very poor customer service, One worker was Swearing down the phone to me. I wish my customer didn't use your company. I will differently be adding you to my do not use list. Reading most of the reviews we are not the only ones who are missing items. And reading your response it seems to be the customers problem. Avoid at all costs. Go to better bathrooms or bathrooms uk.
Excellent website to find a lot of stuff for bathroom at a reasonable real price. Bought some small things they came in one day , really happy with my purchase.
From start to finish first class service, highly recommend ! Although the fitters were presented with a real challenge & had to do lots of unexpected extra prep work, they worked so hard & got there in the end!!We are in love with our gorgeous new bathroom , thank you all so much
