The best place for breakfast/brunch/ lunch and coffee in Linlithgow. Everything is deliciously fresh and locally sourced - the owners clearly really care about sustainability, quality and representing the best Scottish produce. Food is fantastic - amazing toasties, Bross Bagels, soups, salads and unique weekly specials that always hit the spot. The cafe itself is beautiful, including a kids area downstairs for families. I can’t wait to try their new festive menu! The cafe is always updating their offerings to fit with the seasons. Stellar service. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Literally the best cafe in Linlithgow by far - great variety on menu including GF and vegan as well as so many delicious fresh cakes and pastries in the cabinet every day. aran have Bross Bagels on offer too - such a bonus!! Really great atmosphere, would 100% recommend!
Good wholesome food which was mostly ok but needed some small improvements. I mentioned at the time that the fried tortillas didnt work well with the chilli, they were just too hard.
Great experience! Coffee is amazing and also the food! We will come back for sure!
Delicious organic and locally sourced brunch place with delicious homemade cakes.
Great food and friendly service. This was our 3rd time trying to get in for a seat - this is a popular café! You can order to go if required though. Food is good quality, fresh and plated well for you in a reasonable time. Great value for money currently. Place needs a bit of a freshen up with a lick of paint and tends to have very steamy windows - but it doesn't effect the atmosphere too much! Kid-friendliness: An area downstairs is well suited for children. Lots of books and toys here. A lot of space for high chairs too. At the front door directly to the left is an area for parking buggies/prams.
Straight up the best cup of tea in Linlithgow. Staff are attentive and friendly. Last time I didn't intend to eat but ended up having the Stornoway black pudding salad and it was delicious, really good. aran has become my favourite place for a cuppa and a chat.Food: 5/5
Had a brilliant lunch, toasties with salad and a cappuccino. We were both very impressed. I always look at how busy an eating establishment is, Aran was very very busy but still very reasonably priced for the standard of food served.Food: 5/5
Nice brunch, but didn’t enjoy the vegan bacon. It was so hard I couldn’t chew. Apart from that everything else was ok. Coffee wasn’t great. Gluten free bagel was excellent however
The food is delicious and most of it is locally sourced. They use really good artisan breads. The cacage is baked on premises and the staff give great service. Kid-friendliness: There is a dedicated playroom cafe downstairs separate from the main area .
