Thoroughly enjoyed a spa day here, with plenty included for the price. The food was lovely, and the arrival drink/snack was a welcome treat to start the day. The treetop sauna was nice but didn't get to temperature until later in the day. The salt and volcano spaces were great, as was the ice room. The pool isn't huge, so not the best for those wanting to swim as an activity, but nice for a gentle paddle and break between sauna/steam rooms. There were plenty of spaces to relax. They could do with installing another hot tub as these are very popular. The staff were mostly fine. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. Would absolutely recommend.
Me and my mum came here as a birthday treat and we loved it. The amount and variety of rooms is amazing. We had afternoon tea which was delicious, the staff are so friendly and you can go sit in the cafe anytime and order during your time here we fancied some snacks after our session. We loved that it wasn’t overcrowded unlike some leisure spas which can be. So relaxing and clean. 100% worth it. I recommend the treehouse sauna and the toadstool rainforest room.
Fantastic spa break, two days in the spa and an overnight stay. Every member of staff was really friendly and helpful, the food was great including vegetarian options; not much for vegans though. Our accommodation was comfortable and spacious. The spa itself was wonderful, the steam rooms, saunas, pool, hot tubs and relaxation areas are all beautiful, with lovely music, smells, lighting and decor. Myself and my husband had a really relaxing and enjoyable time.
Just back from a day here to celebrate a friend’s birthday, which was incredible! Excellent spa - so many different rooms and a good amount of people in so it didn’t feel overcrowded or loud. What sets this apart from other spas is the team Deborah, Diane or Diana and Sunny made it exceptional. Their care and attentive customer service was spot on. We felt so special and spent all day laughing. Thank you
This spa is great, super clean, staff friendly, food was amazing. We really loved the treetop sauna and outdoor hot pool. I recommend the 4 hour morning session - unless you’re getting a treatment a full 8 hours here isn’t necessary as the place isn’t massive The reason for the lost star: we tried and tried to call up with a customer service enquiry but were left on hold for over 30 mins, tried again later and the same thing happened. It wasn’t acceptable and something aqua sana need to work on Also there is absolutely no privacy in the changing rooms. There aren’t any individual cubicles and the showers have glass screens. I didn’t enjoy this aspect However I do overall recommend this spa and it is well priced for what you get
Aqua Sauna...more like Aqua Hell.... No private changing facilities. No prosecco on arrival. Overcrowded. Noisy. Queues outside of each steam room. Lukewarm pool. Very few toilets and showers. Showers were only half covered so no privacy. Large numbers of groups of men and women making the experience feel boisterous. Groups of men singing in one if the steam rooms to prevent people coming in.
Spa was very clean and warm for the time of year. Highly recommend visiting in winter like we did. All the rooms were really invigorating. The workshop was great as we got to try out loads of serums and scrubs, it's worth booking into these if you can. The shop was good but very expensive. Staff were all super friendly putting out apples and offering green tea.
My partner booked us an evening for us to fill our cups back up whilst the children were away for the night. We visited on the 28th September 2024 for the Twilight package. On arrival we checked in and headed to the changing rooms, the changing rooms we so busy i ended up changing by a locker as there was no place to put my belongings down. I understand that we were all there for the start time however the facilities need to cater to the amount of people allowed in the spa at a time. We headed to the Vitale café bar to get our free glass of fizz and a bite to eat before we used to spa facilities. We were seated and handed menus, our fizz arrived and then we were forgotten about. It took a while for our order to be taken however the food did come out quickly... once finishing our food no complaints here, the panni's would be the only thing we'd return for we had to get the attention of another staff member - who wasn't our allocated server... she said I will go and find her, after a couple of minutes the same waitress came back and said 'I'll just do it' and took our payment. The waitress we were allocated wasn't attentive, and it was almost as though we weren't there We headed into the spa area itself, where every peg was lined with dressing gowns, every area seemed over crowded as though too many spaces had been sold for that evening. The apples weren't replenished and there were 2 left in the bottom of the bowl. The water canisters, had the drags left in the bottom with the lemons and limes in from the day. The flannels at the far end weren't re stocked, just a bowl of empty ice stood next to an empty tray. The hot tubs, were far from hot. It was as though we were just bathing with new friends. The sizing / capacity again left people sat waiting outside for us / other people to get out so they could get in, which isn't enjoyable when you feel you're on a timer and being watched. As the evening came to an end we settled down in the pods, when a staff member came and began cleaning up around us. I understand they are human and have homes to go to, however we felt out of place and as though we had to move, we had 40 minutes left before we needed to be out. I feel it is such a shame that minor details have been totally missed, leading to a below average experience at the spa. The day package may be better as it is the start of a new day and everything would be replenished and fresh for the paying guests.
£75 for 3 hours is not good value for money. The pool was very small, they only had 2 jacuzzis that were constantly full. The spa is very good at dressing up very ordinary spa amenities when really it just repeats the same kind of room/experience. To top it off it was very busy and everyone was talking really loudly. There wasn't any best practise for quiet. The treatments were very expensive as was the food. Sadly the restaurant staff got our order wrong too. The shop testes were demolished and not replaced. The showers are although near enough transparent. The spa is also a little tired in places. Not what I expected for £75 for 3 hours and it's a hefty walk to the spa from the parks village centre. I also developed a post nasal drip after the sauna which may be due to cleanliness issues. However, the staff were very pleasant though.
Spar weekend experience. Fantastic overnight stay in an amazing lodge. It even had a spar bath! Gift robes and slippers to boot. All the experiences are amazing and relaxing. The eating experiences are just as good. Just a few negatives though... The meet and greet was missed and late catching up with us. The food took longer than expected to arrive but at least it was with a cheerful smile. If you have the complimentary breakfast, be sure to ask for each item to be presented with a break in between, not all at once. The outdoor hot tub was tepid not hot. After all said and done, great value for money, and we will always return again and again.
