Lovely spot on the corner of Appley park by the beach. Great food - see photo for portion size of loaded fries. Really well cooked! Chef obviously knows what they are doing, got ourselves a bit of a bargain. Took two dogs and had no problems, good size bench tables outside with umbrellas. Only reason I rate 4/5 for atmosphere is the floor outside could really do with a sweep - show some love to the furry customers that have to sit on the floor too x
Nice cafe for breakfast and hot drinks. Portion sizes a little small for what you pay, but overall quality is good. Lovely place to sit and watch the view across the Solent and Horse Sands Fort. Be aware ParkRun is just up the hill, and this place got VERY busy just after 10am on a Saturday.
A little slow on the service but the food was great! Lovely beach front view. We ordered both the chicken and beef bacon burger. I’d definitely go for the beef! It was very flavourful Food: 5/5
Beautiful spot and gorgeous food. Highly recommended, the loaded chips are amazing. Fish finger sandwich was beautiful too! Dietary restrictions: Loads of GF cakes on display
Absolutely the best cafe we have ever been to!! Cracking views across to Portsmouth and at low tide, the sand goes out for miles!! Photo taken looking back from the sand at low tide towards the cafe. We first came here in March in the pouring rain and stuffed our faces. My daughter and I and dog! came back on Wednesday and today Friday - for lunch on Weds as we'd just arrived on the Island, and for breakfast today before a busy day house-hunting, signing new job contract and heading home crazy to think that the next time we come here, we'll be Island residents!! We love: Vegetarian gluten-free breakfast 10/10 Massive 'everything' breakfast 10/10 Loaded fries - steak 10/10 and vegan sausage with jalapeños 10/10 Hot chocolate 10/10 Cake definitely 10/10 -try the courgette & avocado Also alternative milks available And.... bonus - doggy sausages our little pup was over the moon with her own pot of sausage Also great music, not too intrusive and good choons Vegetarian options: Clearly marked in the menu and other items can be adjusted if required. The staff really go above and beyond to ensure everything is right Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free items available if you ask. We had gluten-free chips every time, and also when I asked for a vegan burger without the bun, I was told that I could have a GF bun 5 stars from my daughter!! She said it was so nice to be able to eat normal food for a change! Parking: There are free spaces further down away from the cafe, and paid spots closer to it. £4.40 for 2 hours at time of posting May 2024. There's also a car park up behind the cafe but I'm not sure how to get there.
What a spot! Perfect beach front cafe with lovely service and food at a very reasonable price. The loaded fries were lovely and the portions are a very good size. Food came out within 5 minutes of ordering too!Food: 4/5

Good food and quick delivery of our order. Nice position with lovely views. Ordering slightly disorganised but not a big problem. Our 14 yr old grandson who likes his food was very impressed.Food: 5/5
Great café with plenty of capacity and friendly and competent staff. Shaded raised seating area round the side enhancing the view and seems to have an upper floor. Could sit here all day. This beach and the whole length of the promenade and it's cafés are one of the delights of the entire South Coast on a sunny July day. Beautiful sand, grass areas, beach huts, and at low tide goes out for miles without being unsafe. Fabulous dog beach just past the Appley tower along the prom.
Awesome place, great food and service , great setting, fantastic staff, helped me out by charging my phone, so I could get access to my ferry ticket to get home, highly recommended.Food: 5/5
