Best doctors I have ever been registered with. Extremely caring & always go out of their way to get you an appointment as soon as possible.
An Appletree Doctor responded very promptly to my request for information on an e consult to pass on to another Dr who had requested the information. I was most impressed.
I have always found the surgery to be really good, they have lots of nurses and doctors with different specialisms and they do see you when they can. Whenever I have needed an urgent appointment or one for my young baby they have always found a way to fit us in. I think they are amazing to be functioning so well under the circumstances we face in the UK at the moment. The receptionists are also all really friendly and helpful and kind.nI think appointments can take a while to come through at any surgery in the UK because so many people in this country have voted for a government that have destroyed our NHS and want to hit frying pans with spoons on their front doorsteps instead of pay our life saving doctors, nurses and care staff a fair living wage. It really isn't logical to blame the local doctors surgery or their amazing staff for that.
From dealing with the receptionists, the pharmacist, Tom and the rest of the medical team, we have been mostly impressed with the care provided at Appletree Medical Practice. The receptionists are very helpful and welcoming. Tom the pharmacist was very thorough with getting the details of our past prescriptions and medical history, having lived abroad for a long time. He was also very empathetic.nWe were able to get face to face appointments when required.nThe only minus was the blunt manner of the RMN.nWe are sorry to have to leave this Practice due to moving area.
I am not able to bend the knuckle on my left middle finger. I saw a practitioner and was told I had trigger finger and they ordered an x-ray. I had the x-ray done the next day and had to wait 2 weeks to get the results. They did not contact me, I contacted them right after Easter holiday. I was told the x-ray was normal and no further action was needed.....nI still cannot move my knuckle.nThey said its all normal.nAll this time I'm off work not earning and after 2 weeks of waiting I'm right back where I started.nThey are not care professionals,nThey don't care at all.
