After speaking to the company owner, sending plans of my kitchen via email, no response after two weeks.Was prepared to visit to discuss but he never responded to my suggestion. N.F.I!!! Seems to not want to design a kitchen for me. Luckily found a local company and they fulfilled my expectations after wasting my time with Appletree.
I recently purchased an Appletree Kitchen and have deliberately waited a good few weeks so we could use our new kitchen before posting a review. Appletree have an excellent showroom and Michael who visited our home paid great attention to our needs as a family before presenting us a well thought out design that has exceeded our expectations. We were kept well informed throughout the installation process and were well looked after by Andy the fitter who could not be more accommodating in clarifying final options as they arose. The space has been transformed and we are thrilled to have an exquisite bespoke style kitchen that is not only functional, but also truly beautiful. The overall craftsmanship and quality of cabinets has been completed to a very high standard and the overall project cost including branded appliances were competitively priced against larger high street operators.
Appletree Kitchens designed and supplied our new kitchen earlier this summer. We are thrilled with the finished result. From our first visit to their friendly showroom, where our designer Michael, was able to help us create the look we wanted and give us good advice, even on what building work would be required, to the fitting team recommended by Appletree, we were delighted. Our friends compliment us on our new kitchen and I can recommend Appletree Kitchens to anyone who wants a company who is willing to go that extra mile to achieve an excellent finished result. Thank you to all the team at Appletree, my Kitchen is absolutely outstanding, from my first appointment with the designer to the completion of installing the kitchen . I was informed regularly of each stage of the progress from the building works to finish. All the team including Designers , the builders, electricians, plumbers and fitters were all very professional, the personal continuing contact from the Director through the full process was superb. I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of going for that new kitchen. Thank you all, I am very proud of my kitchen.
I cannot say enough good things about Appletree Kitchens. Chris was fantastic from start to finish, helping us to create something really special, which we could afford on a small budget. His fitters were excellent, the quality is exceptional and we could not be happier with the final product.
I would highly recommend Apple tree Kitchens and will only use this company for any kitchen purchases in the future. The staff made me feel completely relaxed and welcome while they explained everything thoroughly which made th fit easier than I thought. The finished result of my kitchen is outstanding, I'm absolutely over the moon and enjoy cooking again. Thank you so much and I will see you again soon with my son to choose his kitchen.
We considered lots of kitchen firms over many months, all firms who organise the lot – design to completion. Appletree did everything, from the excellent design by Chris, then gathering their teams of workers to remove the old kitchen, prep the room and fit the new kitchen. Their builder, who also organised the electrician and plumber, was brilliant. Perfect prep. Then the fitters came, August 2017. Nice pair of guys, but unfortunately, lots of errors. Most were small and easy to fix – I did many myself. Appletree sent their excellent warehouseman Mark, a very good man who knows his stuff, and he fixed most of them over two visits. Still a few left, including one that Mark said might not be fixable. This was late October – a long time after the August fitting. Appletree got Simon the owner of the fitting firm to come end of October and did all the work. I’m happy with it now. All fixed. Simon is a very good kitchen fitter. So all’s well that ends well. Probably it would have been better if Appletree had called the owner of the fitting firm when they got my list of 15 faults in August - without doubt this would all have been resolved far quicker. Appletree and I will have to agree to differ about my review, as they are very unhappy with any mention of the fitters’ work as they said they are an “independent installation company”, but Appletree appointed them and I had two rather forthright emails from directors contesting the part in my review about the faults by the fitters!!!! In a nutshell, a lovely kitchen, not too expensive, shame it all got a bit spikey.
NEVER ENDING NIGHTMARE!!!! Don't let the excellent showroom and very nice and helpful staff and kitchen installer fool you. Once there's a sign of problems you are left to your own devices to nag to get things done. My small galley kitchen fitting started Tuesday 28th August and was told Two to three weeks for installation !!! It's been 11 weeks now and there's still outstanding jobs and no sign of anything happening. It was 4 to 5 weeks before dishwasher and washing machine was plumbed in and to get fridge freezer cabinet doors fitted and cooker vent to outside and an array of 30 other snags. We are waiting for the last 5 jobs to be finished now and still waiting for the electrical safety certificate to be issued which has been promised many times. When I sarcastically said we'll be lucky to have this finished for Xmas many many weeks ago it seems that I may be right. In response to your answer of the above. I will email you with full details of the ongoing kitchen problems. Meanwhile for the readers of reviews Your facts have greatly distorted the real truth. The outside mains water problem which held up work for 3 days didn't prevent the plumber from going ahead in rerouting the inside mains. The only one thing that I needed altered was putting the radiator closer to the wall after I originally asked for it to be set further off the wall which was my mistake. The "daily list" was a list of incompleted and botched work which needed to be done and this list was to highlight the work which hadn't been done. It was 5 weeks before any action was taken to reduce this list and that was only because I contacted you in frustration. So you haven't gone out of your way to accommodate my issues as still waiting for missing part for fridge, still waiting for light sensors housing. Sensors still attached to cabinets with electrical tape as left, and still waiting for electrical safety certificate and some snags to sort out. So it's 11 weeks now and yes my kitchen is functional but NOT Finished. We are disappointed with Appletree distorted response to my review.
