Want to say a massive thankyou to Apple Tree and all the staff for making my friends baby shower special and amazing, all the decorations were put up for us free of charge and the amount of effort they put in was amazing. Was so happy with how it turned out and would highly recommend this pub for any event! Food is lovely as always, staff are so friendly and nice and prices are good. Was so easy to book with a simple message over Facebook with no hassle, they answered all my questions the same day and provided an amazing service - so thankyou so much xxx
Easily the best burger I've ever eaten! The BBQ chicken burger was so well cooked, tasty, easy to eat, what more can I say about it? My husband had the Cod and I think he's in a happy food high right now! 'The batter was light, the fish was amazing, the fact that the lemon was cooked before going on the fish was such a nice touch' We'd looked at the desserts list first like we always do but we don't have any room!! Next time, we'll just have starters and desserts. Thanks to Laurie and the staff for making a good pub experience great, such an amazing family pub can't wait to bring the kids here too!
Not long taken over by new managers... what a difference. The place looks cleaner than I've seen it for a long time and a lovely atmosphere. I had the BBQ chicken burger and it was absolutely delicious- really big portions as well. The kids menu and food was great too- they loved it. If you haven't been for a few months, I'd go and give it another go- it's like a different pub.
The fish and chips is probably the best you can get. Smashing pub and excellent staff and service. Doesn't cost a fortune either. Check out the festive menus. Highly recommended.
A lovely meal was had. By myself and my friend plates were hot and food was excellent the staff very welcoming. Reason for 4 stars is the stare of the vbathrooms they were clean but need a fulll update but will be going back very soon
really good and friendly service, food arrived quickly - everyone was very happy with it. burger & fries was one of the best i’ve had! definitely would recommend.
What can I say , had my daughter a surprise 30th birthday meal , was over 35 of us going and would highly recommend, meals was lovely and all came out quickly, staff and management was just brilliant from start to finish, got the room ready for me , and coped with all my phone calls
An excellent place to eat at. I traveled there to visit a friend from overseas, and they recommended this wonderful place to me. The best meal you can ever find. The drinks were amazing! They were the friendly people you could ever find around, and from someone coming to a new nation, that say something. I didn't have the highest expectations since, in America, most the food places are quite rude and fast. Here, you can sit down and enjoy fresh food, nicely poured drinks, and even the most friendly staff you can ever find! I highly recommend you try this place at least once. Trust me. You will DEFINITELY want to come back again! I was sad that my ticket wouldn't let me stay longer! Would have truly tried everything on their amazing menu.

Amazing pub we held our wedding reception here and nothing was to much trouble had pretty much the whole pub staff are so kind and really do go the extra mile also had my partners 40th birthday here if anyone is after somewhere for their event please give these guys a call you won't be disappointed thanks again Laurie and the team
